Speaker McCarthy Indicates Republicans Are Moving Toward Impeachment Inquiry Of Biden
Daily Wire ^ | • Jul 25, 2023 | Ryan Saavedra

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said during an interview this week that the Republican-controlled chamber is moving closer toward an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden over allegations that he accepted millions of dollars in bribes from foreign countries.

McCarthy’s remarks come after Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released an FBI-generated FD-1023 form last week in which a human confidential source told the FBI that Burisma co-founder and CEO Mykola Zlochevsky claimed that he was “coerced” by the then-Vice President Biden and his son into paying millions of dollars in bribes in exchange for their help in pressuring Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma.

“The FBI kept this from the IRS,” McCarthy told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “So, not only do they claim that they were bribed, we now find information that 16 out of 17 payments from Romania were provided to the Biden shell companies while he was vice president.”

McCarthy noted that the alleged bribes to the Biden family have come from countries like Ukraine, Russia, Romania, and China because those countries have public corruption problems.

“This is rising to the level of impeachment inquiry, which provides Congress the strongest power to get the rest of the knowledge and information needed,” McCarthy said, later adding: “I believe we will follow this all the way to the end. And this is going to rise to an impeachment inquiry the way the Constitution tells us to do this. And we have to get the answers to these questions.”

The news comes as Hunter Biden’s former best friend, 48-year-old Devon Archer, who served as a director at Burisma, is expected to testify before the House Oversight Committee that Hunter Biden put his father on the phone roughly two dozen times as Hunter spoke to his foreign business partners or business investors.

“We are looking forward very much to hearing from Devon Archer about all the times he has witnessed Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners when he was vice president, including on speakerphone,” House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) said.

Right out of George Carlin's political speech:

In particular, it's fun to listen to Washington talk. Whenever the issue of term limits comes up, I always tell people the only term limits I'm interested in would be to limit some of the terms used by politicians. They speak, of course, with great caution because they must take care not to actually say anything. Proof of this, according to their own words, is that they don't actually say things; they indicate them. As I indicated yesterday, and as the president indicated to me, but sometimes they don't indicate; they suggest. Let me suggest that, as I indicated yesterday, I haven't determined that yet. See, they don't decide; they determine. If it's a really serious matter, they make a judgment. I haven't made a judgment on that yet. When the hearings are concluded, I will make a judgment or I might make an assessment. I'm not sure; I haven't determined that yet. But when I do, I will advise you. They don't tell; they advise. I advised him that I had made a judgment; thus far, he hasn't responded. They don't answer; they respond. He hasn't responded to my initiative. An initiative is an idea that isn't going anywhere. When he responds to my initiative, I will review his response, take a position, and make a recommendation. See, they don't read; they review. They don't have opinions; they take positions. And they don't give advice; they make recommendations.

So, at long last, after each has responded to the other's initiatives, and each has reviewed the other's responses, and everyone has taken a position, made a judgment, and offered a recommendation, now they have to do something. But that would be much too direct. So instead, they address the problem. "We're addressing the problem and will soon be proceeding." That's a big activity here in Washington—proceeding. They're always proceeding or moving forward. While that goes on, "Senator, have you solved that problem?" "Well, we're moving forward on that." And when they're not moving forward, they're moving something else forward, such as the process. "We have to move the process forward so we can implement the provisions of the initiative in order to meet these challenges." No one has problems anymore—challenges. That's why we need people who can make the tough decisions. Tough decisions like, "How much soft money can I expect to collect in exchange for my core values?"

In Devon archer‘s trial, the Prosecutor asked the Judge to ban use of the name “Biden” and the Judge agreed.

In the Delaware “Investigation” Investigators weren’t allowed to search or request Bank records using the name “Biden”

And there are 20 more similar examples

Whoopee.

The POTATUS isn’t the problem, is he?

If he’s impeached, and if he is it will be because Deep State wants it, then Deep State will just replace him with another stooge.

If Congress really wants to restore our republic, why isn’t it going after the people who orchestrated The Steal and installed the POTATUS?!

It would be great - if he’s being honest.

And when would this happen?

I dunno. Is considering to debate whether to begin recruiting for an exploratory committee to see if the matter ought to be referred to a plenary committee for debate as to whether it ought to be considered or not, progress?

It’s not gonna happen in 2023.

They won’t get to Dirty Weiss until say Oct 1st, the other interviews they requested DoJ is pushing back.

If we say McCarthy is being honest, it easily moves to 2024.

I think they will issue their own self imposed rule to not take action after May.

The only window is JAN-MAY 2024

That’s because it’s being slow walked

In before all words no action... oops, never mind.

Maybe it takes announcing such plans to build a little momentum, at least before the purist naysayers chime in to kill it.

What’s crazy is they’ve had all this evidence since 2019.

They had this before the last Prez Election
