Hide Your Gas Stove, Hide Your Water Heater: Biden Administration Sets New Efficiency Standards
Breitbart ^ | 07/23/2023 | Elaine Mallon

The Biden administration is cracking down on water heaters by imposing greater efficiency standards.

Consumers will have to shovel out thousands of dollars more to install a heat pump water heater rather than a conventional storage water heater in order to fall in line with new standards released on Friday by the Department of Energy. If the proposal is adopted, by 2029, all new electric water heaters must deploy heat pump technology and all gas-fired ones will use condensing technology.

"Hide Your Gas Stove, Hide Your Water Heater: Biden Administration Sets New Efficiency Standards"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

To begin with, the president has the constitutional authority only to pass or veto bills by Congress.

And even if junk science global warming had been proven by the repeatable results of scientific method-based experiments, it remains that the states have never expressly constitutionally given Congress the specific power to police the environment.

"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.

So if this were a better world, then Congress would be impeaching Biden for stealing state powers to regulate water heater efficiency in the name of government manufactured crisis (imo) global warming.

But patriots are first going going to have to elect a new Congress that will do its duty to remove compromised presidents like Biden from power.

Exclusive: Marjorie Taylor Greene ‘Dumbfounded’ GOP Colleagues Will Not Call for Biden’s Impeachment! (6.10.23)

Regarding global warming hoax (imo), consider that global warming alarmists still haven't tried to explain why greenhouse gasses like methane and CO2 fail to hold the heat down under the shadow of a midday solar eclipse of an otherwise warm sunny day.

Also, is it any surprise that nighttime temperatures typically keep dropping in many places until shortly after sunrise?

This crap does not even work worth a crap. It most cases it does not save any energy. Maybe even used more.

And many people can’t afford it(or even have the space to install it). so they will no longer have hot water.

If ya’ want to see pollution, just wait until people in large numbers start heating their water with wood fired water heaters.

If everybody that could, would heat their hot water with solar, it would make a REAL difference in r=energy used.

Water stores solar energy far cheaper, safer and better than batteries.

We have been heating most of our hot water for over 40 years with solar and oil backup.

Non geothermal heat pumps suck the heat out of your basement in the winter in northern climates, they are fine for southern.

NO.

Everybody should build and/or buy their own as we did.

We stole NO money from our fellow taxpayers.

They want those of us in Northern States to freeze to death. Those Great Lakes would be nice to build entitled, green jerks’ houses around for summer get-aways.

They need to leave us the heck alone.

Somebody needs to tell these people to put all this stuff where the sun doesn’t shine. These idiots seem to think nothing of imposing unproven ideas on to many who can’t afford it & don’t need it anyway. These crazy unproven schemes mostly fall under the heading of unfunded mandates. Suppose somebody from some agency comes around to check your home for compliance. Inform them that without your permission that they are trespassing, run them off with a gun, or let the pit bull do the work.

Anything the government regulations to make it a (fill in the blank) saver, automatically causes and increase in what they are trying to save.

Water saver appliances end up using more water when people need to flush more or do more smaller loads of laundry.

People will wash things twice or go back to hand washing dishes which uses MORE water. They are not going to put up with dirty dishes and dirty laundry.

Plus the stupid appliances run for 2 - 3 times as long as they used to requiring even more electricity than before. So it puts a greater load in the electrical grid.

Yep, you have to flush the toilet four times instead of once.

Always flush before going, in case the person before you, left it clogged, you don’t want to find out when it’s too late.

Then maybe you can use about 3 or 4 sheets of toilet paper so it won’t clog, so it’s going to take about 3 more flushes for that.

Both os which require electricity to run.

And let me know how that works out in the middle of a nor’easter in January.

Will you pay for ours?

If not, we’ll continue to use propane.
