The Russian military repelled several large-scale attacks by Kiev forces in the South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions between July 22 and 23.

While repelling the attacks, the Russian military reportedly destroyed seven German-made Leopard 2 main battle tanks and American-made Bradly infantry fighting vehicles. Video footage that surfaced online did show at least three damaged or destroyed Leopard 2 tanks as well as a fourth Leopard 2 and a Bradly vehicle receiving direct hits from FPV suicide drones.

Mines. Slowed down to a crawl, no de-mining equipment, no air superiority. This is NOT what mechanized armor was supposed to do. Yet, for many years I have been told that the Leopard II was “best tank in world”. Maybe overrated.

Armor on armor victories? Not that I have seen or heard of from Russian Tanks.

Anybody know if they have knocked out a Challenger II yet? Wondering how it does with the mines.
