WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden has chosen Adm. Lisa Franchetti to lead the Navy, a senior administration official said Friday. If confirmed, she would be the first woman to be a U.S. military service chief.
Biden’s decision to tap Franchetti, an admiral with broad command and executive experience, goes against the recommendation of his Pentagon chief, but he is selecting an officer whom insiders had considered the top choice for the job. Franchetti, the current vice chief of operations for the Navy, would become the first female member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin recommended that Biden select Adm. Samuel Paparo, the current commander of the Navy’s Pacific Fleet, several U.S. officials said last month. But instead, the administration official said Biden is nominating Paparo to lead U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the nomination has not been made public.

I was just surmising. Two on the ESG victimology scale, she is possibly a female and, from the initial photograph, I imagined her to be a lesbian. Isn’t that how government appointments are made these days?
Her hair is out of standard in that photo. She needs it cut.
It would be interesting to see her assignments in chronological order - you can be she was some big-wig’s staff assistant/aide-de-camp/whatever-navy-term-is at some point. That is usually where the ‘new generation’ is id’ed and fast-tracked.

And if that’s true, then all the other assignments were just resume builders - and a way to gather medals, like so many these days.
She’s probably as incompetent as can be, but look at the impressive resume and the jacket full of distinguished medals.
