One of the main reasons I left my home region of the Bay Area in CA. Five generations, but it was clear that as white male, others would be happily advanced ahead of me based solely on their sex or race. I look back now on my former employer at the time (early 2000s), and can see I was absolutely right. A dramatic shift.
You were right to leave. The whole country isn’t like that, but it will be if they are allowed to discriminate at this rate. I’m in a small Southern town that so far has not fallen to libs. I don’t expect it to but it’s past time to fight back. Look up The Battle of Athens.
