I was in downtown LA not long ago - in a historic area that my mother remembered as being absolutely beautiful and pristine - ladies would dress up to go to the tea rooms in the large department stores.
The beautiful, inlaid pink terrazzo sidewalks are still there - now taken over by mentally ill and drug addled homeless - which the current mayor blames on Republicans, of course. I’m surprised the sidewalks weren’t chipped out and destroyed.
It’s ok to take a dump in the street and sidewal. It’s ok to live in a tent I. The street and sidewalk. However, if you make money and use your private property to do the same thing. It’s illegal.
