Ah, the old trick. Yell loudly. It always works in discussions and debates.

I have never understood how they think being despised is helping their cause. I think it’s a revelation of their spoiled child mentality. They apparently don’t realize that it results in their not being taken seriously, except as objects of contempt.

Eco-zealots, otherwise known as environmental-idiots, are a very small minority in the population in every country. Yet, they believe that, protesting loudly, they will be heard. And they’ve been heard, but at the expense of the vast majority.
Liberals everywhere are the minority, but they’ve had the loudest voices and gotten their way. It’s time to stop them everywhere. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. It’s time to get rid of that wheel once and for all.

Years ago in Seattle some war protesters blocked I-5 through downtown.
The state patrol protected them with their vehicles as they knew people like me would have run them over without hesitation.
I don’t mind protests, but I need to go somewhere and you have no right to interfere with that.
Arrogant asses.

Unfortunately, here in the U.K. the eco-terrorists get protection from the police. (Otherwise they wouldn’t last very long.)

Um...I didn’t see a single video of this group actually preventing their actions or removing them from the street.
Non-news after all.

A liberal dose of hornet spray would clear the street pretty quickly.

Protection by the police is one thing, but they should not be protected from spouting radical viewpoints, not by the police and not by the politicians. In fact, it's the politicians that should be protested against, because it's they that bring forth the radical environment ideas. It's the politicians that need targeting. Get rid of those political/government officials.

Protection by the police is one thing ...
You raise a valid point, however the police are not protecting their right to protest nor to hold radical views; here the police are giving them protection that allows them to stop other citizens from going about their lawful business. Without that police protection, the lawful citizens would soon sideline the protestors.

Police are protecting them while they break the law. If they were protesting in favor of oil, they would be arrested.
