The government of Ukraine has introduced a bill on withdrawal from the CIS agreement on cooperation to combat trafficking of people, organs and human tissues to the Verkhovna Rada (parliament), says Taras Melnichuk, representative of the government in the Ukrainian parliament.
"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as a subject of legislative power has registered a draft bill ‘On withdrawal from some international agreements signed within the Commonwealth of Independent States’ in the Verkhovna Rada. The bill […] provides for withdrawal from the CIS agreement on cooperation in combating trafficking of people, organs and human tissues, signed in Moscow on November 25, 2005," he said on his Telegram channel Monday.
According to Melnichuk, the bill also provides for Ukraine’s withdrawal from the CIS agreement on cooperation on combating motor vehicle thefts and their return.
What is the “why”?
These “anti trafficking” organizations are just gatekeepers for the traffickers.
Ever hear of Laura Silsby?
I would be surprised if Ukraine moves backwards into Russian levels.

Because after bribes, it’s their second biggest export.
Why would Ukraine want to have any agreements with a country (Russia) or a group of nations led by a country that is invading them?
Whoa. 😳 Why would they withdraw from combatting Human Trafficking exc...?
Ukraine’s foreign policy are aligned with the European integration process and, as a priority, the agreements incompatible with Kyiv’s foreign policy priorities should be renounced if they are non-functional or worse, openly flouted by cosigners.
So your saying it’s good that Ukraine is not enforcing anti-human trafficking?
How interesting

No, There are UN treaties for this as well. I am saying Ukraine probably has good reason to cut all ties with a country that is currently at war with them. Is this not obvious to you?
Please ask a Mod to correct the attribution on your post. You’ve cited Taras Melnichuk as the author of the article when in fact it is a TASS article that cites Taras Melnichuk.
Ukraine never ratified its membership in the CIS and at this point extracting itself from the agreements of > members < of the CIS is a logical step since Russia is waging war on Ukraine.
Is this why the left is funneling money and arms to them?

How interesting.
CIS is an undefined TLA.
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as a subject of legislative power has registered a draft bill ‘On withdrawal from some international agreements signed within the Commonwealth of Independent States’ in the Verkhovna Rada. The bill […] provides for withdrawal from the CIS agreement on cooperation in combating trafficking of people, organs and human tissues, signed in Moscow on November 25, 2005,” he said on his Telegram channel Monday.

now why on earth would they drop out of this?
You posted an article from January 2016.
In 2016 ukraine was rated as more corrupt than Russia but today Russia is far more corrupt than Ukraine in the ratings and Russia is a tier 3 country in Human Trafficking and is non-compliant, while Ukraine is tier 2 and improving.
Oh, I dont know. Maybe because...
Commonwealth of Independent States = Russia
