"Company-wide layoffs" are currently taking place at Fox News.
This information comes from journalist Chadwick Moore.
Moore, in the past few days, has posted several messages to his Twitter account exposing what is going on, largely out of the public's eye.
It turns out that among those being laid off are the remaining members of Tucker Carlson's team. Carlson, of course, is the extremely popular former Fox News host who was fired by Fox in April for undisclosed reasons.
The "company-wide layoffs" In a Twitter message that Moore posted on Friday, July 14, he wrote:
EXCLUSIVE: According to a current senior producer at Fox News, there are company-wide layoffs happening right now that no one is reporting on. “Morale miserable across teams on both news and opinion,” the producer says.
Moore goes on to report his source as saying that Fox's shows are getting "frantic, bipolar guidance almost daily on blacklisted and unblacklisted guests, including sitting members of the Senate."
In subsequent Twitter messages, Moore gave as an example U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL).
Moore in one message, wrote, "According to multiple sources, @TTuberville was banned from the prominent shows on the network . . ."
Moore, in a separate message, also suggested that Fox fired an executive producer for Fox & Friends after this individual invited Tuberville onto her show.
There's more Moore, in yet another Twitter message, revealed that the remaining members of Carlson's team are also being fired by Fox.
Moore writes:
EXCLUSIVE: @TuckerCarlson’s remaining team at Fox News (nine employees) will be frog marched out of the building tonight at 9:00pm. HR will be waiting outside the control room when they finish tonight’s show to escort the remaining producers outside. One former Carlson producer called it “Degrading!”
Moore, here, also provides a screenshot that, according to him, is the very email that Fox sent to these employees. Take a look at the email for yourself:
The big question, of course, is why is all of this taking place. And, we do not know the answer - Fox has kept silent. It's clear, however, that Fox appears to be in some serious trouble, and it is also clear that this trouble emerged after its 2020 presidential election coverage, after its firing of Carlson, and - perhaps most importantly - after it adopted an anti-Trump position. This probably is no coincidence.
I see what you did there…
Haven’t watched since they became fraud deniers 2 1/2 years ago.
I quit watching many years ago.
I tuned in to see Hannity the other day and was shocked to see how much he has aged! His hair was white and he had wrinkles all over. The last time I saw him he was still youthful, at least in appearance.................
My company was bought a few months ago but so far no real changes.
The guess is a few more months expect some.
Since there was 20 percent downturn in worldwide sales, that might speed up any changes, good or bad.
After three rounds of medical exile, I keep almost nothing in my office. What little I have in my bag isn’t much. Only two monitors, docking station, Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and a chair.
It’s also one of the larger offices.
Destroy Fox news and send Fox Republicans back to the Country Club!
The idea an average worker would spend twenty or thirty years at the same company vanished some decades ago. The only job security like that is in government. Not only that, our jobs and needed skills will evolve at an ever-increasing rate. Whole categories of career that were there when I started in 1980 have vanished. Typist, punch card operator, copier operator, secretary...all long gone. Now, thanks to aps and AI even technical jobs like legal assistant, accountant and tax preparer are endangered. Even the idea of being a permanent employee is almost gone.
I expect my ticket to get punched where I am in my organization’s IT department.
Certain legacy systems I wound up with are slated to go away and need to.
Get rid of them and someone with a decent understanding of Active Directory, zebra printer network setup, and some office 365 could replace me.
“Morale miserable across teams on both news and opinion,
“FOX HAS GONE TO THE DARK SIDE.”
My exact thought when I read that Paul Ryan was joining their board.
I would so love to hear Rush Limbaugh’s thoughts on the downfall of his beloved Roger Aile’s creation of the Fox News Network.
I can hear him now, “It’s sad!”
?................
--Mgt.
When Ailes died I said Fox has maybe 2-3 years until it goes down the tubes. Well I was off by a year or so....
I remember back in the early ‘70s the XYZ manager came in one morning and looked at the bulletin board. On it was a memo from HR announcing his replacement.
At a company I worked for thirty-plus years ago, approximately 1000 employees, a couple of us guys in my department wanted to see how fast a rumor could spread within the company.
You might have an opportunity at Fox.
But it does sound like a fun and interesting hobby. I will partake and report back.
The management team at Fox should have been the first they caused to problem.
Another lesson the left fails to understand.
They will double down on stupid.
Liberals always do........They can’t help themselves.................
Next look for Fox News to start contracting with airports to have their spew forced on the traveling masses. (Like CNN does.)
