Lessons learned?
What republican would want to face their voters if they had been the ones that left Afghanistan in such a chaotic fashion and allowed the Taliban to control that nation, after so much American blood and money was spent there.
What republican would want to face their voters after Ukraine is surrendered to the Russians? Democrats could then point fingers at republicans for not supporting a country which was under attack by an aggressive nation?

“Good question, why do our elected Republicans support, Ukraine, while the voters do not?”
Perhaps Putin isn’t involved in US politics, but some other country, maybe one just to the South of Russia, is involved, as that would certainly explain why so many Republicans are so gung-ho on this war.

[The MIC controls Wash D.C.......]
Seems like it.
Further, I’m starting to believe that there are unelected people who REALLY run the country. Faceless, unnamed, unelected and unseen....and they have the ultimate control over these things. /shiny side out
Most powerful country on Earth - you can bet it becomes a goal for certain people to control.

I guess it might anger the remaining 5% of their voters, but no doubt the 95% would be happy that we’re out...since that is what they want.
Anyway we’ll see how Pence does in future polling now that he has clearly made Ukraine his TOP PRIORITY...but something tells me he won’t do very well.

Because the elected officials of the unitary represent their own interests, not ours. they are all POS who should be airdropped naked into Mogadishu.

Maybe because Turning Point members are of an age that would involve their going to WHATEVER WAR WOULD BE STARTED AND LASTING FOR TWENTY YEARS.
Which is what happens when people like Pense think it is OUR DUTY TO PROTECT THE WORLD.
It is OUR DUTY to protect AMERICA. Full Stop.

Many years of paying close attention to the U.S. political scene has led me to an inescapable conclusion:
If Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Lindsey Graham and Mitt Romney are all on the same side of any given policy matter, decent Americans should hope and pray that it fails miserably.

C’mon Jane. Don’t you know the Zeepers just want to fight for democracy? You know, the democracy that jails priests and political rivals as well as suspends elections.

Why do 99% of elected Republicans support the war? Probably because they’re getting their little $lice of the pie.
