The biggest problem in Trump-I was that when the Republicans controlled both houses of Congress, too many were gutless. They were not wrong on the issues. The problem was not that they disagreed with each other on the issues. Both “moderate” and “extremist” lacked courage. They were afraid of what the NYT would say...or what NBC would say.

They were not wrong on the issues. They were not gutless, either. They were flat-out LYING about where they stood on the issues.

Just look at the simple ObamaCare repeal bills the GOP Congress would routinely pass before 2017 when everyone knew Obama would never sign them into law … and compare them to the pathetic sh!t that went down once there was a Republican in the White House who would sign anything they put on his desk.
