Can you explain the logic of criticizing and attacking the most popular Republican figure in USA history- a person who many of us believe was cheated out of his second term Presidency through organized collusion between the same Republican elements who now cheer lead Ron DeSantis?

President Trump is a generational political leader. He made mistakes, of course, but many in retrospect. The level of vitriol and criminal government criminality in opposition is unparalleled (other periods in American history have had more vitriol but never the criminal institutional dishonesty and obstruction).

For his political patrons, and relative nabobs such as Kim Reynolds to nip at his heels is offensive and preposterous. She deserves what she gets. Put Trump v Reynolds on any ballot in Iowa, I guarantee Trump gets 70% minimum.

Recognizing his issues, I truly believe that a second and transformative Trump presidency is the only thing that will save the United States from Civil War. Long term, IDK if that is a good thing, given the decline, but millions will live if so. Like the British Empire, the USA, however degenerated, is a net good.

Trump is not entitled to life-long fealty. His endorsements are not, at least publicly, tied to "you must always support me, never compete against me". Trump won in 2016. I supported him in 2016 and 2020. I only recently moved on to DeSantis, yet I still defend Trump against persecution. That said, I have always object to his quick disloyalty to people, his name calling, and bullying. He's made bad hiring picks, turns on them. The overall result, the elephant in the room, is that Trump turns nearlyy everyone against him. He blames them or others. But seriously, is and can it always be someone elses fault?

I try to be respectful of President Trump, I no longer support him, I call him out, I call out supporters. But I try not to stoop to name calling and related BS. I prefer to talk about facts, statements, relevant content.

And yes, that will come out as criticizing Trump. Politely and respectfully. I only ask that others do the same here with DeSantis and others. Don't try to be wanna be Trumps and insult everyone. There's no upside, no votes won and we do live so-to-speak in glass houses.
