Former President Donald Trump made a second attempt to quash a Georgia investigation into his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the state, filing a motion in the state’s supreme court and another court to bar the filing of any charges.
Trump had already filed a motion in March to quash the investigation of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney has not yet made a ruling on the matter but is now named as a plaintiff in both suits, including one filed in the court where he serves as a judge.

I realize this is another witchhunt and that apparently, it’s been proven that the recording was doctored and edited, so any idea of where they aretrying to go with this?
His defense method is delay. In the Florida case, he asked for indefinite delay because the evidence turned over by the Feds was “complex”. Sort of shoots the chance for summary judgement if it’s that good.

I can’t see Trump winning Georgia ever again. Between the two Senate run-offs in January 2021, to how easily Kemp and Raffensperger won in 2022 despite his endorsing David Perdue, I think the state is done with him.
Of course, if he is the nominee, he can go the 2016 route and win FL/WI/PA/MI and make Georgia irrelevant, but it sure makes his path to the White House a lot harder.

Georgia law requires residents who move to file a change of address with the Elections Department within six months.
Failure to file means any vote cast by that resident after six months is nullified.
Trump asked the Georgia SecState to enforce Georgia law.
The Georgia SecState refused - probably because enforcing the law would have had a disparate impact on Black voters, who voted 90% Democrat!
He can only win if he ballot harvests.
