Prosecutors ask witnesses whether Trump acknowledged he lost 2020 race
Seattle Times ^

Federal prosecutors investigating former President Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election have questioned multiple witnesses in recent weeks — including Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner — about whether Trump had privately acknowledged in the days after the 2020 election that he had lost, according to four people briefed on the matter.

The line of questioning suggests prosecutors are trying to establish whether Trump was acting with corrupt intent as he sought to remain in power — essentially that his efforts were knowingly based on a lie — evidence that could substantially bolster any case they might decide to bring against him.

Its a reprint from NYT. One of the authors is like a bad penny-anywhere the Deep State needs a mouthpiece, her name is one of those that shows up.

Its almost to the point where: why bother going through the motions?

“Prosecutors ask witnesses whether Trump acknowledged he lost 2020 race”

I suspect that if what went on during the 2020 race ever gets INVESTIGATED, and it shows that all of the documented ballot stuffing had no effect, Trump would then acknowledge losing. Asking without an investigation is asking if Trump believes God exists, and then throwing him in jail for being wrong, should he say “no”.

What does it matter if he said that, or not?

It’s not like he didn’t leave the White House on time.

I don’t believe he actually lost, but the courts wouldn’t hear the cases.

Exactly and so what.

“Eighty-one million votes my A**!”

Maybe 81 million ballots, but live people behind that number? Less than 65 million.

Voter fraud raised to an art form. And not very pretty art, either.

Why should he “acknowledge” anything to do with that election. It was stolen. Anyone who actually believes that Bidenskyyyy actually received 81 million LEGITIMATE VOTES needs to lay off the fentanyl and meth for a while.

If Trump privately admitted he lost the election — but then continued to publicly dispute it and encourage his followers to attend “Stop the Steal” on January 6th..... Then everyone in prison got used and suckered by Trump.

If Trump privately admitted he lost the election...

I take it you aren't a big fan of that annoying little thing called "evidence?"

Democrat Prosecutors authors of the New Constitution question people about Trump and it better be the answer we want.
