Chris Christie is one step closer to making the Republican debate stage.
The former New Jersey governor claimed late Wednesday to have reached the 40,000 unique donors required to participate in the Aug. 23 showdown in Milwaukee, Wis.
“Last night, we went past 40,000 unique donors in just 35 days, and it gives you some perspective because I ran eight years ago,” Christie told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “In 35 days, eight years ago, we had 5,000 donors. We have over 40,000 donors now.
“There is a donor in every state in America and we have over 200 donors in 36 states,” the 60-year-old added. “So we have really broad support for the candidacy. We’re really thrilled about it.”

No, his goal is to keep Trump from being elected.
Any GOP candidate, except Trump, will beat Biden. The second it looks like Trump won’t get the nomination, Biden gets the boot. Biden can beat Trump, but no one else.
I’d guess they figured out a way to manufacture donors to qualify.

If I were Trump, I would set up a live stream and offer commentary as the debate was going on...
I guarantee more people would watch Trumps Livestream than the debate itself.

Nope. No other candidate will come close to getting as many votes as Trump did in 2020. Not even my guy DeSantis. Trump’s turnout was the high water mark for the Republicans.
Hopefully someone will e mail or text that idea to Trump...

Well isn’t that special.
Trump will, most certainly, beat Biden.
Heck, I know a new employee who was rabid for Biden (his first presidential election), but completely regrets it and is voting Republican. He absorbed all the stuff I sent him, before and after Biden was elected, but sees the truth, since Biden got in.
He’ll gladly vote for Trump.
I think you need to do a bit more research on the things he has said in general and not just about Trump.
The re-election of Biden is his goal. Would not surprise me if we find he is acting at the behest of the anti-Republican group that calls itself “The Lincoln Project”
