The Deceit Behind Hunter Biden’s Sweetheart Plea Deal Gets Even More Audacious by the Day
New York Post ^ | July 11, 2023 | Andrew McCarthy

The Justice Department’s deceitfulness regarding Hunter Biden’s sweetheart plea deal gets more audacious by the day.

Thanks to the media-Democrat complex’s partisanship, it also gets tougher to pierce — which, of course, is the point.

Delaware US attorney David Weiss is in a vice of DOJ’s own making.

Credible IRS investigators, including supervisory agent Gary Shapley, have reported that he told several law-enforcement officials connected to the Biden investigation that he was not the ultimate decision-maker regarding whether Biden would be charged, that he was being thwarted by other Biden-appointed US attorneys in Washington, DC, and California (the two districts with venue over tax charges) and that the Biden Justice Department, led by Attorney General Merrick Garland, had refused his request to be appointed as a special counsel.

Hunter’s sweetheart deal. Should have known when the DOJ sent and received messages for Hunter on these:

If so the new tack is “President Biden fully loves, accepts and supports his son Hunter’s brave and courageous battle to recover from the grip of addiction. As millions of Americans struggle with theirs.”

.
Here’s the big thing: the Agencies ruled they couldn’t use the Laptop.

The Laptop demonstrates over 20 Crimes, and it shows Joe was a part of it. So, they immediately ruled out use of the Laptop.

People couldn’t figure out why Wray, at such a late date wouldn’t admit the Laptop was not disinformation, but he refused. This was only a few months ago. It’s because they ruled out the Laptop, and in five years when their partner IG looks at the case, they have to claim a reason why they immediately ruled out the use of the Laptop, and then sent a directive to that affect to all the agencies.

They wouldn’t let the IRS use Hunter’s name in the requests for Bank Records, which means there are more out there.

What percentage of DC power elites stupid offspring have been ripping off the country since they left their private schools?

I’m guessing lots of Hunter’s high school friends are just as crooked and vile as he is...

EDITED----Biden suck-up Delaware's AG Weiss maintains he did not formally request a special counsel designation (under Section 600 of the federal regulations governing the Biden DOJ) in order to charge crackhead Hunter.

Instead, he claims to have conferred with unidentified “Departmental officials” about being given authority under a different legal provision (Section 515 of the federal laws governing the functions of the attorney general) to file charges against Hunter outside of his filthy Delaware jurisdiction.

Ultimately, he adds, he was assured he would be granted Section 515 authority if it proved to be necessary, but he implies (though he is careful not to state outright) that he never asked......."he says he has never been denied the authority to bring charges in any jurisdiction.”

The Delaware Way.......it’s a crock, through and through.

David Weiss
Delaware's Weiss is in deeper, vainly trying to wiggle out of the hole he dug himself into.

Biden has no moral authority and totally lacks credibility on Gun Law reform and “making the wealthy pay their fair share “ due to this.

Bought and Paid For The “Delaware Way”

Delaware State Supreme Court Lets $$$$$ University of Delaware
Keep Biden Senate Records Hidden From Taxpaying Public
Daily Caller News Foundation ^ | July 6, 2023 | Katelynn Richardson
FR Posted on 7/9/2023, 9:33:22 AM by george76

The Delaware Supreme Court sided with the University of Delaware Thursday, denying the release of President Joe Biden’s Senate records in a lawsuit brought by the Daily Caller News Foundation and Judicial Watch.

The DCNF and Judicial Watch appealed to the Delaware Supreme Court in January 2023 after the state’s Superior Court found the university had satisfied the burden of proof needed to justify denying the records that the DCNF requested through the state’s public records act.

The Delaware Supreme Court affirmed the Superior Court’s judgement Thursday, shielding the documents requested in both organization’s April 30, 2020 public records requests from release.

“The public has a significant interest in these documents,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton told the DCNF. “If the Delaware courts are going to protect Biden from having to produce them or the secret deal that keeps them away from the American people, then Congress should get involved.”

Documents requested by the DCNF, which now will not be released, include
<><>agreements relating to the storage of 1,850 boxes and 415 gigabytes of records from 1973 to 2009,
<><>communications between university staff and Biden’s staff,
<><>log sheets of individuals who have visited the collection, and,
<><> the actual records in the collection.

The records may contain information
<><>relating to Tara Reade,
<><>who accused Biden of sexually assaulting her while working in his senate office in 1993,
<><>or the president’s son Hunter Biden,
<><>who recently plead guilty to possessing a firearm while using a controlled substance, and,
<><> for failing to pay taxes in 2017 and 2018.

Biden’s records have been housed at the University of Delaware Library since 2012. He gave them to the university on the condition that they would not be publicly released until “they have been properly processed and archived,” according to the university’s website.

During oral arguments for the case in June, legal counsel representing the university told the Delaware Supreme Court it could determine whether public funds were used to support Biden’s papers without looking at the records.

McCarthy focuses on Garland's dereliction of duty to appoint a Special Council from outside the government. There are two other possibilities:
  1. Congress could appointment a commission to investigate the allegations, similar to the 9/11 commission. Should Congress choose to do this, it is likely they would appoint an independent bipartisan commission of experts to investigate. Just as the 9/11 commission did, this body would produce a report. A commission like this has the power to subpoena, but has no ability to prosecute anyone.
  2. Congress could appoint a special congressional committee to investigate (think Watergate Committee). Such committees are usually bipartisan and are run by members of Congress. The committee would have the right to subpoena. The difference between this kind of committee and the investigations currently being conducted by the House and Senate Intelligence Committees is that the committee would only be investigating the Russia allegations, rather than investigating and handling the regular business of a congressional committee.
Unfortunately, these originated in the Senate or the full Congress which the Dems and Biden could easily block: Controlling only the House by a thin margin makes a congressional committee or commission unlikely.

But, the House and Senate Republicans could raise a public Holy Stink about all this and get public support to do something about it. Of course, with the MSM owned by the Dems and the new Zuckerberg "Threads" app already blocking conservatives, getting this into the court of public opinion is tough.

I guess the House and Senate Republicans should just lie down, roll over, go back to sleep and do nothing.
