A New York police officer who complained for months about receiving menacing text messages from her colleagues was arrested after investigators alleged she’d been the one sending them all along.
Emily Hirshowitz, 36, of the Ossining Police Department, was charged at the Westchester District Attorney’s Office on Wednesday with four counts of third-degree falsely reporting an incident, along with three counts of first-degree filing a false instrument. The latter is a felony which accuses her of filing a report with the intention of defrauding.
Beginning in May of 2022, Hirshowitz filed a report to the DA’s office that she was receiving anonymous threatening text messages from multiple numbers. She claimed that “a fellow police officer or multiple police officers at my department are involved,” according to court documents obtained by The Journal News.

She was trying to set the department and city up for a juicy lawsuit so she could retire to the beach somewhere and not have to work anymore.

Obviously she didn’t pay attention at work as to how sophisticated phone technology has become.
Investigators take classes on how to decipher all that info and the tech is fast and changing.
She’s a moron.
She probably will get off easy or try to file some, last ditch, sexual harassment accusation to get the beat off.
Honestly, offer a plea, give her some type of probation and fine, send her fata$$ on her way.

No, Ossining is in Westchester County, a suburb of NYC. Right on the Hudson River.

That’s not a “no” to my assertion, if that’s what you meant; I’ll presume it isn’t, though.
Ossining is 33 miles from Manhattan and 25 miles from the northern parts of the Bronx, JFTR.
She stole a job from a better qualified male no doubt, but that wasn’t good enough for her.
She looks and acts like somebody’s ex.
These race hoaxes really need to stop, and the best way is to put her/it in PRISON for at least 10 years
