The New York Post reported that a new YouGov survey has shown that while Bud Light was tied for ninth-most popular beer in America last year, it has now fallen down to being tied for 14th.
Since last year, beers like Pabst Blue Ribbon, Miller Genuine Draft and Miller Lite have vaulted ahead of Bud Light in this survey. The survey also revealed that the top five most popular beers in the U.S. are currently Guinness, Heineken, Corona, Samuel Adams and Blue Moon.
Bud Light sales are reportedly down 30% from where they were last June, and the brand “is showing no signs of rebounding from its slump,” according to Fox News. Making matters even worse, Bud Light’s unpopularity appears to have “infected” it’s sister brands under the Anheuser-Busch umbrella. Sales of Michelob Ultra were down 4.3% in the week that ended July 1, while Busch Light sales were down 8.5%, according to Bump Williams’ eponymous consulting firm.
“Budweiser trends have been slipping for a very long time, but it’s the Michelob Ultra negative numbers and now Busch Light negative trends that are most alarming to me,” Williams told The Post. “They were very healthy prior to April 1.”

I wish I was still an occasional beer drinker so I could boycott Bud and its sister beers (I didn’t know beers had genders).
How that p!ss water was ever a top ten beer is a pathetic story by itself.
Get woke, go broke. Suck it up, AB! Maybe next time you’ll think before hiring a gender confused pervert (I’m just repeating myself) as your spokesperson!
How are the sales numbers for Chickalob doing of late?
Young men who are always self-conscious about their sexuality and don’t want to be sucking on a bottle of Trans Beer.
I think it was due to good advertising.
I am an occasional beer drinker, but it’s been a LONG time since I even tried a light beer. Consuming an Abita Amber Lager as I type this.
Back in the day Bud had great commercials like “Real American Genius” then “Real American Heros” that were hysterical and politically incorrect. They would never run those commercials again:

Super Bowl commercials. Honestly, they were quite good. A lot of people looked forward to viewing them.

Heineken is a fag beer. Why does ANY straight male drink that tranny-fluid?
Heineken are the beer that had “flip my meat” Neil Harris as its spokesfag.
For promoting homosexuals (and the rape of children) Heineken is far worse than Budweiser.
No. Budweiser is humiliated as it’s actions in marketing and willingness to comply with absurd SEC regulations, bit themselves in the arss. Learn. Regroup. Listen. Tell the swarms of the Kings agents to F-off. Do that and your beer will sell itself.

I’m guessing most popular doesn’t mean most consumed, at least going by the shelf space I see in stores.
Freegards
You may like Coke. Someone else may like Orange, or Seven-up.
You guys who like the taste of hops, more power to you.
I don’t, not in the slightest.
Bud Light was the best tasting beer I’ve ever tried, for me.
I tried probably seven other lite beers to come to that
conclusion.
I’ve tried a number of non-lite beers as well. I still
like the mild taste of Bud Light.
So now I’m off to another brand, Bud Light destroying my
desire to support their cause. All I wanted was a beer,
not an ideology or to support a perverted segment of our
society.
Are you sure ???
Any humiliation accured when they hired that cross-dressing homosexual as a spokesMAN ...
Get your pronouns right
That should be Brother Beers
I thought I’d be seeing a short report about Howard Hughes, the billionaire recluse, inventor, aviator, who ‘invented’ the aerodynamic half cup bra for actress Jane Russell.
I guess not.
You liking bud lite is one thing but it being a “top ten” beer with so much other great beer around is another.
How much did it cost prior to the boycott?? Was it dirt cheap?
Their first female vp of marketing did all this. Her big idea.
Worked out splendid.
