Of all the distortions and paranoia that Tucker Carlson promoted on his since-canceled Fox News program, one looms large: a conspiracy theory that an Arizona man working as a covert government agent incited the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol to sabotage and discredit former President Donald Trump and his political movement.
What’s known about the man — a two-time Trump voter named Ray Epps — is that he took part in demonstrations in Washington that day and the night before. He was captured on camera urging a crowd to march with him and enter the Capitol. But at other points, he pleads for calm once it becomes clear the situation is turning violent. He can be seen moving past a line of Capitol Police at the barricades, but he never actually goes inside the Capitol.
Federal prosecutors have not charged Epps with a crime, focusing instead on the more than 1,000 other demonstrators who acted violently or were trespassing in the Capitol. The Justice Department’s sprawling investigation into the attack remains open, however, and Epps could still be indicted.
Yet for more than 18 months, Carlson insisted that the lack of charges against Epps could mean only one thing: that he was being protected because he was a secret government agent. There was “no rational explanation,” Carlson told his audience, why this “mysterious figure” who “helped stage-manage the insurrection” had not been charged.
He repeated Epps’ name over and over — in nearly 20 episodes — imprinting it on the minds of his viewers.

Well, I would not mind seeing NYT’s Dominion.

Urging others to break the Law - is a violation of the Law.
Tons of peeps that did less than Epps were charged and aggressively pursued.

And they will continue the lawfare until all relevant speech is shut down. Don’t say what you saw with your own eyes because you’ll be sued with the entire infrastructure of the federal government.
Why hasn’t the NYT been charged with a crime?
Thinking this is just a ruse to give Epps a payday AND rub it in everyone’s face.
If Epps was just a regular Republican Joe, they wouldn’t be defending him.
The Empire/Big Media sure is worried about Ray Epps.
I can’t imagine why.

Just like the NY Times participated in the Russian Hoax, printing what they were told to print, they were most likely given this story to run.
Epps was wanted for a time.
Then he disappears from the Wanted List.
Why was he so insistent the Crowd had to go Inside?

The DOJ could exonerate Epps by explaining how - in spite of the clear evidence of Epps acting as a leader inciting folks to enter the Capitol - that Epps was not prosecuted for that incitement; while others who, following that incitement, merely, unarmed, entered the Capitol and were indicted.
That the DOJ has neither explained why Epps was not among those indicted nor having indicted him, it is very logical to conclude there is mor to Epps than either he or the DOJ have divulged and THAT set of missing answers is not a “conspiracy theory” but a knawing and valid suspicion.
And, why is the deep state using its media arms to try to exonerate Epps without public answers to the DOJ’s resonses to Epps actions? One can easily imagine the reason is they do not want to bring Epps to trial, because he will divulge things they do not want him to divulge.
I’d love to see Ray Epps under oath explaining his actions.
The accusations against Epps are more solid than those against Dominion. The DOJ has admitted that informers were planted among the Jan 6 protesters. Epps and his likely handlers really could have much to fear from the discovery process.
How does the NYT know that Epps voted for Trump twice?
Also, how would the New York Slimes know who Ray Epps voted for?
Why hasn’t Ray Epps SUED anyone?
Because DISCOVERY would be the end of him.
If he has been slandered and harmed why hasn’t he done anything about it???

We know absolutely nothing about this guy and they claim to know who he voted for?
And out of all the instigators he was the only one NOT arrested..???
Our Republican congress won’t investigate J6, and the role played by these very visible players. What does that say about them?
