In the past, it was a disease that primarily affected older white men.
Now, kids and teens — particularly girls — are being diagnosed with kidney stones.
The demographic of those most likely to suffer from kidney stones has changed in three decades, according to a report from NBC News.
According to a study conducted by the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, kidney stones among children doubled from 1997 to 2012, with the research noting that black children and adults suffered kidney stones at a higher rate than their white counterparts.

Someone needs to put the story forth that McDonald’s causes kidney stones, especially from the Happy Meals. I wonder how far their stock would crater if that was reported.
Drink more water and lay off the sodas, kids.
Drink more water...
The cause is either climate change, homophobia, gender dysphoria, or not enough gun control.
All of the above.
And less soda and iced tea.
I had kidney stones about 30 years ago. Dr asked me if I drank a lot of milk. “Yes. About a gallon a day”. He said...”Stop”. I haven’t had more than 3-4 glasses since. Kidney Stones are major pain.
You forgot racism.
Climate Change /s
I got kidney stones when I drank a lot of loose-leaf green tea.
Tell those black kids to lay-off the loose-leaf green tea.
and blood clots and myocarditis too, but no one knows why.

How many of them were vaxxed?

The crap they drink is probably what is causing most of it. The melting glaciers is probably only a minor cause.
High fructose corn syrup. Nasty stuff.
Increase from 1997 to 2012. Doesn’t say it was uniform increase each of the years. Could it be a jump primarily in one of those years?
Kids used to spend large amounts of time outside playing, riding bikes, etc.. - now they’re all sitting watching screens. This is the biggest change I’ve seen in the last 30 years. You have to convince them to get a drivers license!!
I drink a lot of milk (not a gallon a day - maybe a gallon a week) so your post gave me pause. I just did a search and found several medical articles that say milk does not cause kidney stones.
