Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded Sunday to former President Trump’s claims that he could end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours if elected to the White House.
“It seems to me that the sole desire to bring the war to an end is beautiful,” Zelensky told Martha Raddatz on ABC’s “This Week” through a translator. “But this desire should be based on some real-life experience. Well, it looks as if Donald Trump had already these 24 hours once in his time. We were at war, not a full-scale war, but we were at war, and as I assume, he had that time at his disposal, but he must have had some other priorities.”

It may well be this war would have never started or ended in its early days had Trump been in office in the US...but at this point Zelensky and his buddies have their emergency under which they can be as corrupt as they want and nobody can dare question them.
If we quit giving them money and weapons it would be over in 24 hours. They are likely pocketing the money and selling the weapons. Or some of it. What do they need the money for anyways.
That said, the 24 hour claim is nonsense and deceit on the face of it. Everyone knows better.

Trump is the only president who got N Korea to stop shooting missiles over Japan and any other country. Putin did not invade Russia when Trump was in power. The whole world was at peace. I have zero doubt Trump can stop Ukraine war in 24 hours based on his actual record.
Zelensky was probably ordered by the Biden Team to make those remarks, so long as they were strongly critical of Donald Trump, the Z-Bills would keep coming in, w/o interruption.
