A shocking 60million Americans still have not had Covid, according to results from an official antibody survey.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated that 77.5 percent of over-16s had antibodies from at least one prior infection by the end of 2022.
That suggests around 58million Americans, or nearly one in four, still hadn't caught the virus by the end of last year — more than three years after the virus first arrived in America.
Of all age groups, seniors who were at the highest risk of disease, were least likely to have been infected, with 56.5 percent of those aged 65 years and over having natural antibodies.
Young adults and teens had the largest proportion of people with a prior infection, at 87.1 percent of those aged 16 to 29 years.

Most of us old folks probably have been exposed to the strain that was bio-engineered into the Chinese flu in the Wuhan bioweapons lab. So of course we were less likely to get the WuFlu.
How do they know?? I got it 2 years ago and I never went to the doctor or reported it to the health department.
The Science of Social Distancing says that 1/20 mi. [slightly less than the distance from my front door to the mailbox] spacing is nearly 100% effective.
As far as I know, I haven’t had it, but then I very seldom catch colds.
The only solution of course is to abolish free market capitalism and adopt a global socialist command economy.
I was managing a high rise condominium when COVID first hit in December 2019/January of 2020. We didn’t know it was COVID, we all thought it was a horrendous flu.
It ran the gamut. Some people had no symptoms and did not get sick, some had a light cold and shook it off, some were down for a week or two, some were hospitalized, some died.
It all depended on how healthy you were and/or what was in your genetic soup. I went from being perfectly healthy to wrecked lungs.
I’m pretty sure at this point, unless you are a hermit, you have been exposed or caught it and might not have known it.
Didn’t get the chinavirus nor the jab and did not, even once wear a face condom. I’m 78.
Well, we better inject the entire US food supply with MRNA just to make sure then
I don’t think I got it, despite a couple of family members who had minor symptoms.
well then...will the cdc under Biden go door to door to make sure to catch everyone up on what they didn’t get? should be interesting.
I almost died from Hong Kong Flu in 1969 and haven’t had the fly since. I DON’T CARE!!!
I supposedly got it in Dec 2020, but who knows how accurate the tests really were?
Neither husband nor I had it, but we stayed very housebound. Got to be habitual and we still don’t go out much.
Same here.
“A shocking 60million Americans still have not had Covid...”
Why is this shocking? What a retard thing to state.
My sister and my daughter have both been sick with certain cold-like illnesses, but they are the only two in my extended family who haven’t had CoVid. Honestly, I think that there are a lot of us who didn’t really have CoVid, but if the at-home tests were *actually* accurate, then I did have it a year ago. As someone who used to work in research labs a zillion hearts ago, I honestly doubt that the at-home tests were very accurate. Just a way for some company to make money. I think they erred on the side of caution vs. accuracy.
I don’t “get tested” every time I have a tickle in my throat or a stuffy nose.
Color me biopharmaceutical complex conscientious non-cooperator.
from the article:
“Scientists test their blood for two types of antibodies to determine whether someone has got immunity from an infection or vaccination.”
It appears that they are trying their best to beat life back into this dead horse.
