This judge is a incompetent paid union stooge. No sympathy for Starbucks. You made your bed, lie in it.

You WILL reopen. You WILL pay $16 an hour!

What does he mean they “illegally closed”?
Aren’t the hours of operation up to management and/or franchise owner?
That judge is over stepping his authority.
He must be owned by the union in some way.
A ‘Made’ man, if you will.

If the judge orders enough customers to buy overpriced coffee this could work.

How ‘bout it, your honor?

Easy fix- Pay someone to torch the place , collect insurance and have it pinned on angry union workers. Win, win, win!

Federal law requires all kinds of advanced notices
and negotiations prior to taking such action.

The irony of all this is delicious. Starbucks espoused Democrat socialist wokeism for years, but ran the business like capitalists. They attracted Democrat socialist workers, who felt ill treated under capitalist business realities, so wanted to unionize so they could get paid more than than economic reality would dictate. Starbucks capitalist managers, realizing they could not afford the increased costs, shut down a poorly peforming store. The woke, would be Democrat socialist employees appeal to their government overlords for relief ... and win their case! You MUST reopen your store, rehire the workers, and give them back pay!

Socialism is just great when it eats their own.

No, the judge is a panicky Biden Democrat who sees a union defeat

However, he issued a ruling he can’t enforce

It takes a union to be able hire someone to make a way over priced cup of coffee in the first place?

The only times I drink Starbucks is when it’s free. I have a Honda dealership that has it free for customers and employees. They have a sign on the machine stating “Perks For Work.” It’s not the closest dealership to me but they send great coupons for oil changes. The dealership near me doesn’t.

Unfortunately a great shopping “discovery” for me involves Starbucks. I use a Keurig with two pods in a big mug. I found that Starbucks Tiramisù pods are the best mixers with a wide variety of cheap pod coffee. It’s a good cup on it’s own but not my most favorite. But my most favorites don’t mix well with others for flavor. The Starbucks Tiramisù can turn an off brand pod into a fair cup of coffee.
