Biden: We’re Sending Cluster Munitions to Ukraine Because ‘We’re Low on’ Ammo They Need and They’re ‘Running out of’ Ammo

During a portion of an interview with Washington Post columnist and CNN host Fareed Zakaria set to air on Sunday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” that was released on Friday, President Joe Biden defended his decision to send cluster munitions to Ukraine by stating that Ukraine is “running out” of the ammunition that they need, and “we’re low on it.”
Biden said, “[I]t was a very difficult decision on my part. And by the way, I discussed this with our allies. I discussed this with our friends up on the Hill. And we’re in a situation where Ukraine continues to be brutally attacked across the board by munitions, by these cluster munitions that have dud rates that are very, very low — I mean, very high, that are a danger to civilians, number one.”

Putin has an arrest warrant out on him for war crimes.
Is using them a war crime?
The use of cluster bombs itself does not violate international law, but using them against civilians can be a violation. As in any strike, determining a war crime requires looking at whether the target was legitimate and if precautions were taken to avoid civilian casualties.
“The part of international law where this starts playing [a role], though, is indiscriminate attacks targeting civilians,” Human Rights Watch’s associate arms director Mark Hiznay told The Associated Press news agency. “So that’s not necessarily related to the weapons, but the way the weapons are used.”

It was a sure thing 17 months ago, and the part you want Ukraine to surrender now is the greatest wealth and geography of the nation.

Why advertise to the Russians that Ukraine is low on ammo?
The Russians understand Ukraine's ammo problems better than anyone else. They're on the front lines. Russia knows how many artillery rounds they fire and how many rounds Ukraine fires at them.

The end of Ukraine can't come soon enough.

Is the entire attack on Ukraine a plot to deplete US resources. Then attack the US.
I see where Russia may not be committing high valued resources attacking Ukraine

Oh cynical me. I surmise that the Jobama cabal’s real plan is to deplete the US military munition supply to the extent that the homeland will be rendered vulnerable and unable to sustain a defense, along with creating a way for the DC connected to make billions on resupplying of the US military. Funny how that works. President Eisenhower warned us of that very thing in his fair well speech. War means huge profits.

Bummer. We need to get those cluster munitions killing civilians for “our” side!
