Robert F. Kennedy Jnr has admitted for the first time that he uses testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) — which some doctors describe as 'legal steroids'.
The Democratic presidential hopeful admitted he is on an 'anti-aging' protocol prescribed by his doctor that includes TRT, a hormone treatment that can cause an increased risk of blood clots, heart attacks and strokes in some cases.
Mr Kennedy's admissions has led some to call him out for hypocrisy. His political career has been built on peddling hardline anti-vaxx views for years, including the claim that vaccines cause autism and kill more children than they protect.
Speculation about the 69-year-old's physique was rife last month when videos and photos of him looking buff and working out at the beach went viral.
Some doctors at the time suggested he may be using steroids due to the fact that he has made rapid physical gains at his age.
Mr Kennedy told the Lex Fridman podcast Thursday: 'I take a lot of vitamins, I can't even list them to you here because I couldn't even remember them all, but I take atone of vitamins and nutrients.
'I'm on an anti-aging protocol from my doctor that includes testosterone replacement.'
But immediately after his TRT admission, Mr Kennedy told Mr Fridman: 'But I don't take any steroids.'
'I don't take any anabolic steroids or anything like that and the TRT I use is bioidentical to what my body produced.'
TRT, also known as androgen replacement therapy, is used to treat low testosterone levels - but clinics have begun doling it out liberally in recent years due to the treatment's ability to boost muscle mass.

BTW, I think he's leaning a bit anti establishment uniparty, too.
He has been awarded informed consent and used it to decide whether or not to take a chemical version of Testosterone that the body produces naturally. The drug has been in use decades and the side effects are known - the US Government does not demand social media to delete relevant information - doctors are not stripped of their medical licenses or fired for speaking freely about it, or offering alternatives.
As the prior FReeper says, they aren’t mandating children take testosterone, although the trans advocates wish they could. There is no comparison - he is not a hypocrite. He just made some creeps angry and now they will smear him...

Perhaps he researched and determined he was willing to take the risks, and/or that he wasn’t in a high risk group.
It wasn’t deadly snake oil someone had to massage a medical definition of vaccine and intimidate people with “science” to take, or they’d literally scream at them, say they should be quarantined, jailed, executed, or that they deserved to die for not taking.

Actually I think he’s not a gun grabber. He came out with a position recently saying the 2nd Amendment is “absolute” - in fact said he is a “constitutional absolutist” so he’s more in line with traditionalist capital L Liberals than today’s leftists.
There are some people who just like to point out hypocrisy in others, particularly their opponents. The proverbial glass house stone throwers.

Look at his face now and compare it to even a year ago—not the same face—total steroid face. Looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
If his doctor prescribed it and he voluntarily takes it there’s no hypocrisy at all. Who the hell are these people? Are any of them his doctor?

If he's taking testosterone he needs to be concerned about his prostate. Higher cancer risk.
