You never would have heard of Hillary if she hadn't tied her fortune to Bill Clinton's adventures into politics If she had ended up being somebody else's wife, she would have ended up being just another desperate housewife in a suburb somewhere.

Hillary might have gotten elected to Congress from a heavily Democratic district in the Chicago area. Possibly she could have made it to the Senate. But no way she would have had a chance of being the party’s nominee for President if she had not been the wife of President Clinton.
