Which, if true (and that's a big IF), says to me that the coke was somewhere in the upstairs areas which whoever found it wasn't able to poke around in while the POSUS* et al were there.

Well said. As we see, there can be snarky statments made on Free Republic. It’s no laughing matter to find unidentified substances at the White House, regardless of what we think of whoever the president is.
They couldn't remember where Bill hid it, which is why he and Hillary took all the furniture.
They returned it all when the coke wasn't there. ;-)

Are there cameras around the White House? I would think every inch would be covered by video, and searchable by motion. Yea, they know exactly the source, but don’t want it known.
That’s my thoughts. Either this is a warning shot of some kind, or the big takedown is coming up soon. It wasn’t released for no reason.

Check fingerprints and DNA on the baggie.
Check the camera files of the hundreds of White House security cameras.
It’s no doubt someone who is a known heavy drug user with a record of brain addled stupidity.
It’s probably someone with a history of abnormal behavior - like diddling his own sister in law, taking selfies of himself smoking crack, and forgetting where he left his laptop computer containing hundreds of files documenting criminal activities of himself and his immediate family.
