I would bet Dolly is full leftard in her personal life. But until I her her spew that crap in the open I’m still going to like her.
Nope. IIRC, in some interview from years ago, she admitted she likes men and “likes” to “flirt” but there is nothing sexual or physical going on. She said something like if her husband ever had a sexual affair that, she’d have to kill him and if she did that, he’d have to shoot her. She was joking to a degree esp. when she described it as an “open marriage”. But they’ve been married since 1966 without any hint of sexual affairs or infidelity scandals.
She did say that one of the things that keeps them together is that he eschews the spotlight and likes to live simply, he doesn’t go on the road with her, or do interviews or appearances, and until he retired recently was still running the asphalt co he started in the 70’s. and continues working on their house and farm. She’s on the road a lot but when she comes home, they spend all their time together and as she said, “when we are together, we’ve got so much to talk about”.
She said he understands her career and isn’t jealous of it and she understands his not liking the spotlight and respects that. The things and values they share outweigh their different personalities.
