President Donald Trump celebrated a big week of Supreme Court rulings that handed conservatives a slate of long-awaited victories on issues like religious freedom, college admissions, and student loan forgiveness.
While delivering remarks to the Moms for Liberty: Joyful Warrior National Summit, Trump heralded the court’s decision to end race-based college admissions in their Thursday decision that deemed affirmative action unconstitutional.
On Thursday, SCOTUS struck down the decades-old race-based admissions protocol in a suit involving Harvard University and the University of North Carolina.
Trump joked that this might mean the kids “will get report cards again.”
He added, “If you’ve worked hard, gotten fantastic marks…somebody that hasn’t done nearly as well, who perhaps has not worked as hard, will not be taking your place.”
President Trump also touched on the Supreme Court’s ruling on Friday to strike down Joe Biden’s proposed student loan forgiveness plan, which would have cost American taxpayers billions of dollars.
He said it “would have been very unfair to the millions and millions of people who have paid their debt through hard work and diligence.”
President Trump called the decision a “great day for America” on Truth Social, shortly after the news broke. “People with extraordinary ability and everything else necessary for success, including future greatness for our Country, are finally being rewarded,” he added.
Thank you, President Trump.
👍🤣👍
Trump should chest-thump over this. I’m so old I remember us all thinking that Roe would never be overturned.
Justice Thomas should be delighted after his “high tech lynching” confirmation hearings at the hands of Joe Biden.
He should take credit. He could be the most consequential one term elected president in modern history.
Back then, who'da thunk that the then pro-abortion Trump would be the one to appoint the pro-life justices needed to overturn Roe and Casey? In the end, there's nothing special about Trump. We shouldn't let whatever you or I said in the past to hold us back from the Lord using us for His will.
Negroid Hegemony play by Michelle and Homo Barry is thwarted for now. 12% of the population can’t rule over the other 88%. Sorry you’ll have to work hard and thrive on your own merits Shaniquea and Daquon
The race baiters claim he is an Affirmative Action pick after his lynching.
