Former RNC chair Steele: GOP would control Congress if it had its ‘***&— together
The Hill | 07/03/2023 | JULIA MUELLER

Posted on 07/03/2023 7:39:03 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Former Republican National Committee (RNC) Chair Michael Steele last week said that he thought the GOP would have more power in Congress if the party “had our &*^& together.”

“Do Democrats understand how freaking lucky they’ve been that the Republican Party is so bats–t, Trumpy crazy?” former Republican presidential candidate Joe Walsh asked Steele on an episode of his podcast “White Flag,” released last week, referencing former President Trump.

“I don’t think they recognize that if we had our *(*( together, this wouldn’t even be close,” Steele said.

Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) “would be sitting there with about a seven or eight seat majority” in the upper chamber, “and the House would be closer to the numbers that I got in 2010,” the former RNC chair said.

The battle is against the deep state/ NWO, WEF, FED, ...

It is against their want for money that keeps the GOP out of power.

I’ve got news for this RINO

The gop is in full control of Congress Mitch’s senate included

This wimpiness handing it over to the Democrats-whatever we’re calling their ideology this week- is how they want it.

Michael “get jiggy wit it” Steele. He was trying to be 90’s type of hip hop cool, 20 years after it was hip. Just like a parent trying to be cool to their kids. Just not happening

Working against Kari Lake, Herschel Walker, and Dr. Oz is what the GOPe did. A governorship and two Senate seats thrown away by Steele and his fellow RINOs.

We have to face it: the abortion issue and bad candidates crushed us in 2022. And yes, Trump’s endorsements didn’t help. Along with what he said in the Georgia Senate run-offs.

I agree with Steele but not for the same reasons.

Right now, 26 states have Republican Governors, consider Kentucky, Arizona, Kansas, and Wisconsin are 4 states with Democratic Governors but could easily have Republican Governors.

49 Senators are Republican, 3 Democratic Senators from Red States should be defeated, West Virginia, Ohio, and Montana hopefully rid themselves of the plague.

If the Republican Party did have is act together, they should have the Congress and Senate and a better and 50/50 chance to win the Presidency.

The GOPe does NOT want control of Congress. IF they did, then they would be in a position to be held accountable for their actions and inactions. As things stand, they are able to enjoy all of the perks and trappings of power and do nothing at all except build their personal portfolios.

The real problem for all of us is that WE do not see through their subterfuge and winnow the slackers out during the PRIMARY Season when it really matters. I have been repeating this message for several years and people just do not get it.

...and if the GOP was in control of Congress,
nothing would be different!

I don't want the GOP to be in control. I want conservatives to control Congress! (...and the WH)

Michael Steele, what do you propose for the trade and industrial policy of the United States?

Michael Steele, what do you propose for the immigration policy of the United States?

Michael Steele, do you think people should be able to get ahead of others by breaking the law?

Michael Steele, do you think half of the USA should depend on federal handouts?

Says the guy who endorsed the DEMOCRAT in the last presidential election (see story below).

So he can STFU about the Republican party when he won’t even vote for the REPUBLICAN nominee.

Uh, even with a majority in the house and senate they couldn’t control it. The gopE doesn’t play the game for squat.
