Wagner warlord Prigozhin has vanished eight days after mutiny as Kremlin cracks down on his business empire...

Posted on 07/03/2023 4:19:06 AM PDT by Eleutheria5

Wagner warlord Yevgeny Prigozhin's business empire came under fresh assault yesterday as his media companies suddenly folded amid questions over his whereabouts.

The mercenary chief has not been seen since shortly after the collapse of a mutiny by his Wagner Group fighters that rocked Vladimir Putin's regime eight days ago.

Normally prolific on social media, Prigozhin was last heard from on Telegram a week ago, despite a rumoured sighting in Moscow.

Under the deal that halted his rebellion, the former ally and one-time chef to Putin was to be allowed to go into exile in Belarus.

His men, who have fought some of the bloodiest battles of the 16-month war in Ukraine, were given the choice of joining him, being integrated into Russia's armed forces or returning home. Now the closure of his network of companies has added to growing scepticism over whether Prigozhin will really be allowed to leave Russia.

Putin’s not looking for this guy. They’re letting bygones be bygones.

He may be just laying low and staying out of the news, that would be normal.

He is a billionaire himself and I doubt that he was going to retire to Belarus for the rest of his life, in time we will find out what he is doing but why rush it?

All things global and involving governments and war are not knowable instantly to the world’s public, relax, you will see the news when there is some to be seen.

Or he may have been “disappeared”. We’ll find out by and by.

His life is in danger. Who sponsored the failed revolution? He didn’t get the results agreed upon and the source must not be revealed. He is in serious trouble. Who want him dead???? (WH, CIA, Brits, NATO??)

He should go full-ISIS. Use Belarus to attack weakend areas of Russia. Take over parts of Belarus, control politicians, rob banks, etc.. Then use Belarus to destabilize Russia until he can move on Moscow. He’ll need money. Bank robbing and extortion only provide so much. He’ll eventually need a revenue stream. From oil. I’d expect him to pop up around the Caspian sea, Iraq, or oil-producing areas of Africa requiring better security.

Good point, the smartest thing to do now is secure him on a military base in Belarus and interrogate him. There’s almost certainly a lot more to this and it’s likely the Neocons made promises of an uprising if he would just light the fuse. Well he lit the fuse, and like everyone else who trusted the Neocons, he too was double-crossed. Probably has a lot of things to say to the Russians these days.

Every sparrow that falls from heaven is not caused by Neocons. Simplest explanation is the best, and the simplest explanation is that he took a gambit. It failed. He’s either gone the way of Jimmy Hoffa or has skedaddled. Neocons think they know everything, but don’t bother to learn the language, typically. So how they gonna deal with an old fox like Prigozhin.

“Every sparrow that falls from heaven is not caused by Neocons.”

Maybe not, but they sure as hell have their fingerprints on a lot of crap, most of which blows up in their faces (like Brazil, recently).

Exactly how did Brazil ‘blow up in their faces’ when BlackRock, DeepState and Biden supported Lula?

“Exactly how did Brazil ‘blow up in their faces’ when BlackRock, DeepState and Biden supported Lula?”

As far as I can tell, they were TRICKED by Lula. They thought, by supporting him, he would join their push for World War 3 with Russia, instead he is EVEN MORE pro-Russia than Hair was.

...and, at this point, given the hormone-driven HATRED towards Russia of the Neocons and their Ukraine-supporting friends, literally NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

Biden, the Neocons, and others got their butts handed to them with Lula.

BobL - Lula is a socialist at best.

He has never been anything but pro-Russia throughout his life

Not going to happen.

Prigo had his chance - and he blinked.

He was using speed to get to Moscow. he took over Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh without firing a shot. If he had held his nerve, he could have reached Moscow and probably gotten people on his side - it certainly seemed that way.

But, he blinked and his chance is gone.

He’s in Belarus, his Wagner group are not with him, the ones left are disillusioned that he blinked, his opponents have had a chance to regroup AND he’s lost the “ra ra” of the Russian people.

He can’t take over parts of Belarus - he doesn’t have the connections there, nor the force.

Prigozhin is spent imho
