Two different guns may have been used in the December 8, 1980 shooting of music icon John Lennon, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to British author and TV producer David Whelan, two different types of bullets were removed from Lennon's body during the autopsy. One was marked as a Semi-wadcutter or hollow-point bullet, while the other was listed as a 38-caliber lead bullet.
Whelan believes that the different bullet types add weight to his theory that a second shooter was involved in the killing.
The author has spent three years investigating the murder and has highlighted several inconsistencies in the official narrative, including the suggestion that police may have misunderstood how the shooting occurred.
Whelan's investigation has also revealed a 'hit list' compiled by convicted gunman Mark Chapman, including the former Beatle, Godfather actor Marlon Brando, and former First Lady Jackie Kennedy.
The prosecution's accepted version of events was that Chapman shot at Lennon five times, with four of the bullets hitting the singer in the back. However, Whelan's witnesses have suggested that the shooting may have been recorded incorrectly and that the fatal shots were actually fired into Lennon's chest.
Pull-easze....
The World is better off without internet links to yoko.
I have to disagree with you there. Yoko was 7 years older than John, and 6 years older than Cynthia, she got him ditch his loyal wife and his son, and walked away with all the money just over a decade later. Yoko had ALL the skill, my friend.
Imagine there’s two bullets.
It’s easy if you try.
2nd gunman was on the grassy knoll outside the Dakota and Yoko didn’t even see him! ha ha
“I don’t understand. It’s not a big deal to load different types of ammo into a revolver.”
Exactly! A Brit reporter probably would not know that. None of them here would know that either.
That makes no sense. His peacenik and revolutionary days, which are greatly exaggerated anyway, were long over. None of the songs on Double Fantasy were political.
And what war were they defending in 1980, and a few years AFTER the Church commision.
(By the way, the U.S. could have kicked Lennon out of the country in the early 70s, but they never did.)
It's what is referred to as the magic bullet theory.
Yeah, where WAS Yoko? Snicker...
Look, both those bullets could have been fired from the same
gun. It depends on the calibers, the number of shots fired,
the magazine of the gun in custody.
Such a worthless shooting. I disagreed with a number of
Lenin’s views, but this wasn’t the way to handle it.
I try not to remember the guy’s name who shot John. I
also try not to remember who shot Reagan.
I won’t let them gain popularity living inside my head
if I can help it.
Wait, this means the walrus was never Paul.
Clowns? FIB? 🤔
I suspect the Walrus
Who says the bullets were different, other than how much they were deformed? It seems pretty clear that one of the 2 bullets was deformed to the point it could not be identified beyond caliber, thus “.38 caliber lead bullet”. The other bullet was also seriously deformed, but identifiable as “semi-wadcutter OR hollow point”.
The guy who shot Reagan had family ties to the Bush family.
Where was Eleanor Rigby?
Happiness isn’t always a warm gun I guess.
“And they BOTH missed Yoko?”
Yeah no kidding.😟
Stephen King shot John Lennon

“Reveals government codes in major magazines, Including the killers face, and true identity. Mark Chapman’s name attached to a letter to the editor printed weeks before the murder and more that proves a Nixon, Reagan, and yes, Stephen King conspiracy.”
This guy used to drive around the Bay Area in a van with writing all over it in the early 90s, and call in to talk shows on KGO.
And the FBI investigation into the business dealings of the father of John Hinckley were dropped weeks after the failed assassination attempt. Bush Sr. also could not remember where he was when Kennedy was shot and only years latter recalled that he was in Dallas at the time. (This would be like forgetting you were in Manhattan on 9/11. )
He still does. I’ve seen his vans and trucks many times in the last five years, including once in the last few months. I think that was in Pacific Grove, but they are often near downtown Monterey. I haven’t heard him get in to the radio station in a while.
