The Supreme Court has struck down President Joe Biden's $400 billion student loans forgiveness plan in another bombshell decision.
The justices ruled 6-3 against Biden's controversial plan to wipe out debts for around 20 million Americans, which the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals blocked in October.

True, I was trying to optimistic. My bad;)
I agree to your point that correct SCOTUS decisions such as these tend to stir up the Dim voting base. But I would argue that even if it causes us to lose the next election, these landmark cases gain more than one election loses.
Of course, this assumes that the Dims wouldn't win the next election anyway with their fraud.
“Didn’t Trump try to pay for the Mexican-USA wall with this tactic by shifting money from the Department of Defense to the wall?”
Under the law, he had discretion to move that money. Biden will need to find $1.4 trillion for student loans, and that’s not probable.
The Tide is turning; the rats are sinking, stinking.
Our sincere thanks and gratitude to Donald J Trump for
his vision and love of country. GOD BLESSED AMERICA!
I wouldn’t be surprised if bidens goons at the DOJ raided some of the SCJ’s homes and offices.
Don’t forget your favorite Kentucky Senator hung tough when he prevented Garland from being confirmed. And the two Bushes, for all their faults, did appoint Thomas and Alito.
Imagine what the makeup of the SC would be now if the Hildabeast had won in 2016.
No kidding.
As though they wouldn’t have positioned themselves to steal again in any case.
These decisions are good for America.
Exposing & countering the steal was & is needed in any case. We need all the good decisions we can get & while none is a panacea the ground gained has no downside.
So, they should have decided the opposite? Use your noggin.
And no doubt there are debts and commitments that Kagan must honor.
Thank goodness they prevented another Sleepy joE boondoggle.
Carrying out your argument to its ultimate conclusion, you’re saying it would be better if the current SC should vote pro-leftist on every decision, just so blocks of leftist voters won’t be angry and then continue to vote for the Dems.
Then what would be the point of having a conservative court?
They have, but they believe that Opinions:Constitution = Talmud:Torah, and that therefore their opinions do in fact alter the Constitution to reflect "the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society".
There used to be 7-2 or 8-1 majorities that believed they had such a power to amend the Constitution. Now, they are down to three.
My family sacrificed to save and pay mine.
Yes, God Bless Trump. But dont forget, RGB helped out a bit here too!
Yeah, now that we finally managed to get some nominally non-leftists appointed (Thank you, Trump), and Conservative values are finally being defended, you're pissing and moaning that those wins might drive away votes.
What do you want? The SCOTUS to just rubber stamp every leftist challenge? Then what's the point of electing Rs in the Executive and Legislative branches in order to secure seats on the court in the first place?
You sound like McConnell. "I want to win, but I don't want to actually do anything if I do."
I paid my way through medical school, $800/year x 4.
Now, it's $90,000 x 4, and nobody is paying their way through that.
He’s already saved America, even out of office. Four more years!
Apples and Oranges, we didn't have the scholarships, favorable loans, student aid etc, then as we do now. Not saying schools are not waaay overpriced, just that times have changed. Also, Doctors can now make $500k/year, much more than 40 years ago.
