The question is, who is the military working for?
Hazarding a guess: whose spy balloon was allowed to fly untouched over CONUS? Who was Milley vowing to give a ‘heads up’ to?
But, but we have "elections"!!
/sarc
And we have at least as many armed citizens as Afghanistan's entire population.
“America Is a Military Dictatorship Disguised as a Democracy”
Agreed
Act accordingly.
Look up COG (Continuance of Government) and devolution (good series of articles by Patel Patriot), consider ALL the goings on from 1/20/2021, and be pleasantly surprised.
The founding fathers did not like the idea of having a “standing army”. They were not against having a military or navy at all, but the kind of army they faced prior to the revolution - red coats on every corner which were a general harassment to the public (to include the quartering of soldiers).
The standing army we have today is effected through the police. Police are fine when it comes to maintaining order and fighting crime. Everybody rightly salutes them for that. The problem is their second job - enforcing the will of the state.
If you were surprised by the lack of push back against the government during the COVID shutdowns, know that it was due to the fact that we effectively have a standing army preventing us from thwarting the government’s yoke.
Know too that we are currently under a fascist system. Ignore the left’s claims of fascism, where they largely focus on race. This is a diversion from their own fascism. The racial stuff was a hitler thing and not fundamental to fascism.
Fascism not only involves totalitarianism through force (which requires a standing army), it involves close collusion between government and business. What the government doesn’t enforce directly, is enforced indirectly through business. E.g., forcing everyone into electric vehicles won’t require legislation when manufacturers simply stop selling the other kinds of cars.
“..that it’s hard to pinpoint exactly when it all started going downhill..”
Not hard at all...1865.
So people are telling you that this is your leader, you must comply with his dictates without question, and somehow he isn’t dispatched before dinner? I don’t think so. Our founding documents prescribe in detail, the proper response to tyranny. We all must respond as prescribed.
...As Biden remarked at a fundraising event in California, “I love these guys who say the Second Amendment is—you know, the tree of liberty is water with the blood of patriots...
tyrants...he forgot the tyrants part.
Furthermore, the quote was orignally addressing the tree of liberty, not the second amendment.
Leave it to a leftist to distort history with lies and then sprinkling a wee bit of truth in attempts to distort the facts.
AKA propaganda
...with some dementia sprinkled in
They are there to defend our constitution. They should have stopped the 2020 election when it was clear that votes were being dumped, at 3 in the morning. Then investigate! Pence left this country down .
“And we have at least as many armed citizens as Afghanistan’s entire population.”
Precisely...that’s why democrats are so keen to ban guns. Diabolical from top to bottom.

“Well, if [you] want to do that, you want to work against the government, you need an F-16. You need something else than just an AR-15.”
Gandhi didn’t have a single F-16, or AR-15. And yet, the British are no longer running India...
Resolve is the most powerful weapon of all. Unfortunately, modern day Americans have a lot more AR-15s than they have resolve.
Whoever signs their paychecks.
Willful self-delusion is not going to magically get us out of this.
