On Saturday night, with his heavily armed mercenaries closing in on Moscow, Yevgeny Prigozhin abruptly announced that he was shutting down his insurrection after a negotiated settlement that would allow him to walk away peacefully.
Just two days later, the Russian authorities leaked word that the agreement was already toast.
After one of the most extraordinary days in modern Russian history, which saw Prigozhin seize the military’s southern command HQ in Rostov-on-Don before a column of his fighters sped toward Moscow virtually unopposed, it was announced that the former Putin confidant would be granted an amnesty and allowed to head into exile in Belarus.
Prigozhin—who forged his notorious reputation by running the world’s most bloodthirsty mercenary army—laughably said the deal was struck to ensure that no “blood will be shed” even though his men had already shot down several Russian helicopters and a military plane, according to reports from Russian military bloggers and the Ukrainian air force spokesman, killing up to 39 Russians.

It's possible but I doubt it. I watched Putin's speech. He was not acting. If it was Zelensky or Reagan, then maybe because they were actors before they became President. So i can't see Putin faking it. Russia is a crazy place. Crazy things keep happening in Russia.

I HAVE TO LAUGH AT ALL OF THESE GLOBALIST LIBERAL WET DREAMS.
Putin Arranged this whole deal pursuant to the military doctrine of Reflexive Control.
Former CIA Intel operative Rebekah Koffman has it exactly right.

Most of the commentary we have seen in the press is mostly by people who do not know what they are talking about. They do not see deeply enough into the events.
There has been a subtle widening of the war into Belarus in preparation for a foray into Poland by Putin. Thats why the Russian nukes and Prighozin are both there in Belarus.A version of Wagner will now be secretly created in Belarus.
And it is preparation for Putin to employ tactical nuclear devices against NATO.
THe war is widening , not narrowiung. Putin is a master of deception, and he has the press and the West right where he wants them so that support for Ukraine in the West slackens.
Reflexive Control Doctrine: Read up on it:
***************************************************
Abstract
Russia is increasingly applying methods of reflexive control (RC) to influence political decisionmaking through election manipulation as well as undermining the trust of citizens in political institutions and political systems of targeted countries. Russia is employing RC not only domestically and in neighboring countries such as Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland but also more and more in NATO countries such as the US, Germany, France, Great Britain, and Canada. For the CAF to be able to develop effective countermeasures, it is essential to achieve a deeper understanding of RC as it was used traditionally during the Cold War and particularly how it has been further developed to be used in current Russian operations. This report discusses the concept of Russian reflexive control, how it has evolved into its current iteration, the mechanics of how it works, and how to identify possible countermeasures to RC.
This RMCC research report addresses the following research questions:
1. What is Russian reflexive control?
2. In what instances has RC been successfully applied?
3. What were the underpinning mechanisms by which it worked?
4. What are possible countermeasures to RC?
5. What are possible applications of RC mechanisms by the CAF?
The paper concludes that reflexive control in its current form implies a compound program of targeted decision-making through multiple vectors, accounting for not only the adversary’s logical processing of information, but also emotional, psychological and cultural frameworks within which decisions are made, over a long time-frame. The complexity of the concept offers avenues to counter reflexive control operations. It appears to be a fragile operation that is fairly easy to counter, once identified, if target audiences are made aware of the concept and how it works. In addition to moral and legal concerns, the high complexity and fragility of RC operations, along with fairly effective countermeasures to RC, suggest the CAF should not apply RC mechanisms in operations.
The poor little abused bloodthirsty hired killer. That duplicitous Putin might have taken advantage of the mercenary’s innocence. Team Uke Corruption has found perhaps the only person in Russia more despicable than Putin for their new hero. The attitude regarding Prigozhin by the administration cheerleaders around here has changed on a dime. He’s the same low life murdering thug but now he’s Uniparty, DC’s favorite low life murdering thug.
BTW, that song sucked too.
A poorly sourced tale, mostly speculation, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
When that’s your life, you don’t sleep, unless you’re already resigned to your death and then you sleep better than you ever have.
Russia says it's building a new "democratic world order" with China
Catchy headline; but you can’t announce a double-cross when you don’t even know the terms of any “deal” that was done. Too much is assumed about all this.
We lose either way, and people like you miss that point altogether.Good job convincing me you are a Loser.
Don’t link to articles which require us to fund sites like the Daily Beast. Come up with better sources.
Duplicitous Putin? More like a naive Prigozhin.
Wasn’t the Russia-collusion conspiracy of Comey and others just as treasonous?? Yet they got away with it and in some ways rewarded. Who are we to preach???
No blood will be shed. Sounds like his fate will be a dose of Polonium in his tea.
I think so. Putin gets rid of him. He survives for now. But Putin has a problem. Wagner Group proved to be pretty effective in Ukraine. Who else will be ready to fill that role?
“More likely he will fall out of a window.”
Or he will stupidly stick himself with an umbrella tip covered with polonium.
You would think he’s smarter than that. That stuff is dangerous!
Wow a Daily Beast fantasy and here you are using your RAT sources to schmooze people.
Why the hell would the Daily Beast give a um, “RATs behind” about what happened to Progo?
Funny how a guy that was the face of the killin’s of massive amounts of Ukes could be so worried about by the people who were so disgusted by him a week ago. LOL
You people have Putin living large 24/7 in your minds.
I doubt anyone is going to stop your globalist world order either.
They are both bad you idiot.
We made that development the reality. That's why I said all of us will become the victims of tyranny that will devolve into utter chaos.
Mark my words. See if I am not right if we do not join forces to fight both of these attempts to create competing evil New World Orders.
Butt-hurt? No idiot, I am trying to sound the alarm, and have been while you talked about bikes. I have been telling all that this conflict between Ukraine & Russia should have been cut short before it ever happened, by intervening to stop the hostilities in eastern Ukraine.
Now we will face the ensuing consequences of not intervening. It will not be pleasant. The coming global warming will be man-made due to thermal nuclear arms being deployed, if the current madness is allowed to continue.
