the use of nuclear weapons is a monstrous step, it should be avoided if possible. But, as the vector of the West, its elites and society, their movement towards anti-human and post-human values shows, all this indicates and objective approach to a big thermonuclear war. There is a big difference between a limited use of multi kiloton nuclear weapons and an all out strategic weapons exchange involving thousands of megaton-class warheads.
The former is obviously survivable, since Nagasaki and Hiroshima have been rebuilt, and since we survived atmospheric testing during the ‘50s.
A strategic exchange does risk a nuclear winter due to the amount of smoke and ash thrown into the atmosphere. It would be equivalent to a major volcano, which have caused widespread crop failure for multiple years afterwards.
There are also some special cases, such as targeting a nuclear power reactor and adjacent cooling ponds with a megaton class weapon in order to release the accumulated radioisotopes.

Russia was not in a bad place prior to 2022 invasion and 2014 invasion. Their biggest problems were not Ukrainian nazis or globalhomos… it was demographics and corruption at all levels. I would suggest that the biggest reason for the invasion failure to reach putins goals was corruption and lying.
Had russian stuck to its borders and promoted its economy with all its vast resources, made course corrections in regard to corruption then Russia could have been very prosperous.
