Not since the obsession over “Freedom Fries” 2 decades ago has the conservative media spent so much time on a matter of such little consequence.
Christie is an extremely efficient drain on DeSantis’ “Never Trumper” voters. He’s like an Asa Hutchinson with gravity.
Especially if it’s Trump. They will either steal the election from him, or they will kill him. And most people in the country will just shrug (many will outright cheer).

I might be wrong. But it looks like Trump’s lead in the 2024 GOP primary race is insurmountable.
So perhaps it’s time for Trump to quit fussing over his primary opponents, and start to plan on how to win the general election.
Because that’s where the challenge is. The Democrats have the mainstream media and the cheat machine. Trump will need to build a strong coalition to overcome all that.
Either we hire our bad guys to fight the horrible democrats or we lose.

I am beginning to wonder if Sanctus even wanted to run for president or if he was pushed by the establishment who saw him as the only candidate who had any chance of beating Trump.

I do not think former President Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee, regardless of how the primaries go next year.
I seriously doubt DeSantis will will be the Republican nominee.
I think it will be either Haley, Pence or Scott. either of which will be the sacrificial lamb for the Kabuki theater, we call ‘The General Election’.
My thought is, Newsom as the next president once the Democrats come up with a way to depose of Biden and Harris.
