A presidential plane linked to Vladimir Putin flew north from Moscow towards Tver and switched off its transponder, according to multiple reports.
Other business jets were seen making an exodus from the capital towards St Petersburg.
Earlier there were reports from Ukrainian intelligence indicating Putin had left from Moscow by helicopter for his palace at Valdai, between Moscow and St Petersburg.
It comes as a sinister message posted on the Wagner Telegram channel on Saturday said: 'Putin made the wrong choice. All the worse for him.
'Soon we will have a new president.'
Sources close to Putin insisted he was working in the Kremlin - an unusual location for him except for short visits.

It would seem to me that China would want the Ukraine war to keep on going. The war eats up NATO and US assets. And it bleeds Russia dry. Both of those things are very good for China.
On the other hand, remember that old board game, Diplomacy? I lost more of those games than I won. So I’m certainly no expert with this kind of stuff.

I suspect Putin will try to run. He probably has billion$ of reasons to do so.
Lukashenko had some morning meeting (6 hours ago) with his generals. Appears to be eyeballing what was taking place.
Would be curious if he has to leave in a hurry. Don’t know who’d take the guy (maybe Dubai).

So somehow a war breaks out between Russia and Ukraine which wears out Russian military for 2 to 3 years then magically Russian mercenary’s decided to overthrow the Russian President...... 🧐
