Strength in Numbers: Pennsylvania GOP Endorsements Delivered for Donald Trump
Breitbart ^ | 23 Jun 2023 | SIMON KENT

Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign team is expected to announce Friday he’s won the endorsements of more than half of Pennsylvania’s House GOP delegation.

The ex-president’s Pennsylvania backing reportedly flows from Reps. Mike Kelly, Dan Meuser, Scott Perry, Guy Reschenthaler and John Joyce. Their show of support helps him draw further away from his Republican rivals seeking the party’s official endorsement.

As of Thursday evening, Trump had received the backing of 56 of the 63 House Republicans who had so far endorsed a candidate, according to FiveThirtyEight, which is tracking congressional endorsements.

Trump continues to declare his innocence in light of the recent classified documents indictment and has vowed to fight on and clear his name.

His closest competitor remains Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis who has the support of five House Republicans.

Politico reports Trump’s backers have worked hard to garner support from within the GOP. Reporter Alex Isenstadt outlines:

Trump and his team have been pushing aggressively to win the backing of congressional Republicans: Earlier this week, he hosted several of the Pennsylvania members for dinner at his Bedminster, N.J. golf club. Brian Jack, Trump’s former White House political director, coordinated the endorsements with the help of TV ad maker John Brabender, a Pennsylvania political veteran.

The indictment over Trump’s handling of classified documents has done little to dissuade congressional Republicans from backing the former president. Earlier this month, a day after the charges were unsealed, Trump traveled to Georgia, where he unveiled the endorsements of a pair of House Republicans from the state, Andrew Clyde and Mike Collins. Later that day, the former president went to North Carolina, where he received the backing of Rep. Richard Hudson (R-N.C.), who as chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee is a member of party leadership.

Best president ever since George Washington!
No wars started or continued. That is a record in modern times.
Lowest inflation.
Lowest unemployment.
Cheapest gasoline adjusted for inflation.
No shortages of baby formula or any other important commodity.
Significant wall built in spite of no cooperation from congress. No other president came close to building so much seriously effective wall.
3 fairly conservative candidates confirmed for SCOTUS.
Survived 2 phony impeachments, phony Mueller investigation.

There will never be more effective president for this country in past or future.

While I think that is a bit of hyperbole given presidents like Washington, Jefferson and two Reagan terms, I would agree that the only one likely to beat him is a 2nd Term DJT who understands even more keenly how much the swamp resists being drained.

Great summary.
I’d like to expand on your lowest unemployment highlight.
Lowest unemployment of Blacks and Hispanic’s since the U.S.
started recording those figures.
Most sane people I know wish to return to those recent years.

“Best president ever since George Washington”

that dumb statement is all anyone needs to know about you

Lincoln and Reagan — light years better than Trump

oh, I know, I know —
— before the people who suffer from TDS jump in to say

BUt AmNeSTy (President Reagan)

bUT HabEAs cORpUs (President Lincoln)

It’s this kind of moronic assessment that totally undermines whatever credibility you might have.

SAD to see you suffer from TDS

Hopefully all of these wonderful supporters pouring out of the woodwork — supposedly, according to the posted claims — will help count ballots in Allegheny County and Philadelphia County in November 2024.

I stated ALL FACTS Trump accomplished.

You state nothing. You are just a low IQ poster, safely ignored.

Trump Derangement Syndrome. Do you even know what that means? If you grab a mirror you will see TDS looking back at you. Are you always in this state of confusion?

Know nothing about Jackson, Polk, Lincoln, Cooldidge. I only learned about British history in high-school. But have been here since 1960 and watched steal from Nixon to JFK in Chicago area where I was at the time.

The same Reagan who TRIPLED federal spending? The same Reagan who encouraged China to get MFN status and screwed middle class manufacturing jobs? I guess Reagan did not know manufacturing creates more national wealth than all other avenues combined. No wonder China has catapulted from a poor country in 1970 to the biggest economy in the world as measured by buying power. China is buying mines, factories and land all over the world including United States. You will feel ill to find out how many American outfits are now owned by China. Sorry Reagan was played like a violin by speaker Tip O’Neill.

Now you badmouth Reagan. Reagan was busy defeating the Soviet Union at the time. 97 percent of the people on this site love Reagan. He could have done a lot more with a GOP Congress. The 80’s were a great time to be an American. If Trump attacked DrSantis for being a Reagan Republican, I guess you would be all In , huh?

You correctly stated some facts

Your CONCLUSION is flawed and demonstrates you lack critical thinking skills

I have no confusuon.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is a two-sided coin.

One side is occupied by the Never Trumpers. That’s the original variant of TDS

the other side of the coin is occupied by a number of Only Trumpers. They suffer from a new variant of TDS

Both strains are equally debilitating. They erase one’s ability to think critically

SAD

Speaker O’Neill played Reagan like a drum. Reagan did not veto a single spending bill proposed by Tip. Any Republican who expands federal spending triple times before taking office is a dunce. These are facts. Personally I liked Reagan. But sadly he was indeed a dunce.
