The notion that if we just get rid of Trump then the “drama” will go away and Republicans can get back to business as usual, unharrassed by dems, the deep state, and the media, is laughable. It’s as delusional as believing that “electing” Biden would restore “democracy” and stability to the country because “the adults are back in charge.”
What those who find Trump distasteful refuse to acknowledge is that we are in an all-out war for the fate of this nation, and trying to placate delicate sensibilities is not a luxury we can afford right now. Business as usual, head in the sand, go along to get along won’t get it done. That’s the path to final and unrecoverable ruin. We don’t need a career bureaucrat, we need a field general, a Patton. And then we need a people who won’t turn all wobbly when bold action is required and the war gets “messy.” An absence of “drama” is a sure sign that you’ve already been defeated. Cemeteries are very calm, peaceful places.
Trump ripped the scab off and with that the fight for our nation is in progress. Most don't seem up to the challenge, and prefer instead to discuss absurd notions like "who is the true conservative" as if we have electoral choices post 2020.
Great comments.
You see things so clearly. Couldn’t have said it any better, too. Kudos.
