actually, no, that’s not the problem; the Republicans not being able to win the popular vote is...

if they could, they would all be in favor of early voting, mail in ballots, and electoral college restructuring, and so would the people on this website...but as it is, the pubbies are forced to embrace policies amounting to depressing voter turnout, and good luck selling that in today’s dim bulb environment...

True that.

But it is not the system we have. If we are ever going to win "elections" again, we must do what the Democrats do.

"Vote early and often".

And then if we ever win elections again, we must change the rules. In those changes we must purge the voter rolls and start over. Registrations must include proof of ID and must expire automatically after five years or so unless renewed.
