Good analysis!
It’s been a stalemate for the past year. Nothing has changed.
Between now and the end of the year is when the Neocons like Biden and sadly most of the Republicans are the most dangerous.
If this over hyped counteroffensive goes bust like it appears to be, the Neocons will have a hard time explaining and lying about it, I would not be surprised to start hearing talk about US Ground Troop or a coalition of the willing from NATO establishing some type of safe haven for Ukraine or direct confrontation with Russia.
It would be insane to engage in a direct ground war with Russia, that has never stopped these psychopaths before.
A few will make Billions on these ventures—George Soros will love it to see America on the ropes when he dies. Big changes are coming and I fear they will not be pretty ones.
A very comprehensive article on Ukraine’s failed strategy: https://www.moonofalabama.org/2023/06/on-the-failure-of-the-ukrainian-counterattack.html#more
and if these failed tactics were dictated by NATO/US military leaders could it be that they reflect NATO/US tactics to be used by our troops. Something to think about.
A No Fly Zone west of the river, and over Kharkiv.
It’s where they have to end up no matter what.
The last two weeks were shaping and probing actions. The main attack is still to come. Yahoo, ISW, and looking up what Colonel Grosberg actually said, all agree on this point.
That is why Russia has a large well equipped Army group in Belarus... just holding positions until they cut the Polish suppy lines to Ukraine.
According to rumors the Poles already have lost tanks crews imanning Leopards. Also a lost of speculation that Polish soldiers are already serving in Ukrainian uniforms.

They need more American Taxpayer Billions To Continue.
“The next mission creep may be NATO (likely Polish ) troops in far westren Ukraine to free up Ukrainian troops to move to the front lines.”
Given that Western Ukraine, including Lviv, was Polish from 1920-1939 that is an interesting statement.
