The artist who sketched former President Donald Trump’s arraignment last week in Florida responded to criticisms that he portrayed Trump as younger and more physically fit than reality.
“It’s rare I get any kind of feedback,” sketch artist William J. Hennessy Jr., 65, told the Boston Globe.
Hennessy was one of three artists who captured Trump’s appearance at his arraignment in federal court in Miami last Tuesday. Trump was indicted on 37 federal charges related to alleged willful retention of national defense information, conspiracy to obstruct justice and false statements. Trump pleaded not guilty and slammed the charges as a “witch hunt.”
The sketches came under criticism by some on social media who claimed that Hennessy portrayed Trump as younger than his age of 77 and thinner than reality.

Laughable. After Trumps indictment, a photo of Hillary was released, she was wearing a ball cap with her new logo, “BUT HER EMAILS”. It was either heavily photoshopped or they used a much younger pic, adding a ball cap. She hasn’t ever looked as good and certainly not in the past thirty years.

I suppose I would be angry at any sketches of Biden done without a drool bib on him, but...I would have valid reasons for thinking the sketch inaccurate.
I thought the one made by Hennessey DID resemble Trump, given the picture posted of him in the article.
However, the sketch done by the other artist didn’t resemble Trump much at all, IMO.

The funny thing is that Trump isn’t the type to demand that photographers and sketch artists portray him as young and good looking. He makes fun of his appearance - especially his hair. He is comfortable with who he is and how he looks.
A good reaction would be to make his face bright orange (the same way the media doctors photos) and see if that pleases the Leftists.
“I don’t editorialize,” he said. “I just draw what I see.”
