Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned in a television interview on Thursday that the United States could face the "collapse of NATO" or a direct conflict with Russia if Ukraine does not win the war.
"Is he ready to go to war? To fight, to send his kids? Are they ready to die?" Zelenskyy asked. "Because anyway, they will have to do this if NATO gets involved."
Former President Donald Trump, the Republican frontrunner in the 2024 presidential election, would not commit to supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia, during a CNN town hall last month. Instead, Trump pledged to end the war within 24 hours.

I am far more cynical than you. The geography of America will always exist, as do the outlines of nations in Europe, but the internal mix of populations has become poison. The constitution has no meaning to our new arrivals, and as long as they will work for bread and lodging, aging whites will willingly stand at the back of the line to live one more day.

War is the perfect excuse to curtain freedoms, and put the machine in place to ultimately get rid of The Constitution once and for all.
No, there is a 3 red option. Keep NATO and let the Russians occupy all or part of Ukraine. That’s where it gets interesting. Russia will have to occupy with a severely depleted military.

With respect, I shall disagree and be far less cynical. There is something ineffable and infectious about liberty. Socialism in all its forms isn't the way forward. Liberty remains that way. Besides, as Frank Zappa said, "people like to own things." :)

There will be some form of Marshall Plan to rebuild Ukraine. But they'll have to beat Russia first.
