A high-ranking Space Force officer has spoken out slamming a slew of recent anti-LGBTQ state laws, saying they have a negative impact on military families and force readiness.
Lt. Gen. DeAnna Burt made the remarks in a fiery speech at the 12th Annual DoD LGBTQ+ Pride Event in Washington DC, saying that the laws sometimes forced her to choose 'less qualified' candidates for postings in those states.
'Since January of this year, more than 400 anti-LGBTQ+ laws have been introduced at the state level,' said Burt, the Space Force's deputy chief of space operations.
'That number is rising and demonstrates a trend that could be dangerous for service members, their families, and the readiness of the force as a whole,' the general added.

When I enlisted in the summer of 1961, we were given a "do you have or have you had" checklist of diseases, illnesses and conditions to fill out. One of the items was "homosexual tendencies".

It's laughable. If true, then the space force is heavily staffed with LGBTQ types. And what are these discriminatory laws? Examples please?

This Woke "LGBTQ+ Pride" movement in the military is at least as much a national sin as the one General Washington wrote about.
Indeed, how can we expect the "blessing of Heaven on our arms, if we continue to tnsult it by impiety and folly"?

By this statement, it appears that the general believes that homosexuals and trans sexuals are inherently more qualified than heterosexuals.
The Space Force was primarily formed to assure senior promotion paths for satellite specialists who were being overshadowed by pilots and combat arms officers in the Air Force (and to lesser extent other branches).
You had better believe the 3-stars and 4-stars are hand-picking the squadron and “delta” (i.e., wing) commanders.
GOOD. Because I suspect those laws are for keeping filthy smut out of school classrooms and libraries, protecting children from being mutilated so their stupid woke parents can virtue signal and keeping vile, fetishist teachers from pushing their deviant sexual lifestyle crap on kids.
