Lt Gen DeAnna Burt claimed such laws 'could be dangerous' for members of the military
Lt. Gen. DeAnna Burt, deputy chief of space operations, also claimed that such laws affect her hiring and promotion decisions, sometimes leading her to choose a "less qualified" candidate because of a preferred candidate's "personal circumstances."
"Transformational cultural change requires leadership from the top, and we do not have time to wait," Burt told those attending the event. "Since January of this year, more than 400 anti-LGBTQ+ laws have been introduced at the state level. That number is rising and demonstrates a trend that could be dangerous for service members, their families, and the readiness of the force as a whole."

And when they finally get down to the township level, I hope General Burt will look into putting a traffic light at the intersection near my house. We really need one there.
That is pathetic and infuriating. These laws protect NORMAL people and their families from the outright depredations of the weirdos, freaks and kooks. They protect us from the cultural revolution that the leftists are fomenting.
That the Pentagon supports the weirdos, freaks, kooks and perverts and believes that making them a catered-to protected class increases our fighting effectiveness and readiness is insane and defies common sense. That the leaders in the Pentagon espouse this nonsense is really worrying.
There is NO EVIDENCE whatsoever that catering to perverts improves "the readiness of the force as a whole." NONE at all. They just spout that nonsense and expect us to swallow that swill. It's the very same swill recipe "diversity is our strength."
The Space Force has the most technically challenging mission of our armed services--they don't need nincompoops.

So these laws stop her from hiring her preferred candidates? Her preferred candidates are mentally ill?
