Southwest Kansas
Northeast Texas Panhandle
* HAZARDS...
Widespread damaging winds, some hurricane force A few tornadoes
Widespread large hail, some baseball size
* SUMMARY...
Widespread severe storms associated with damaging wind gusts, large hail and a few tornadoes are expected today across parts of the southern and central Plains. Hailstones greater than 2 inches in diameter and wind gusts above 70 knots will be likely along the more intense parts of a fast-moving line of storms. A severe threat is also expected to develop in parts of the Southeast, and in parts of the Ohio Valley.
Preparedness actions...
Review your severe weather safety procedures for the possibility of dangerous weather today. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio, weather.gov, or other media for watches and warnings. A watch means that conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms over the next several hours. If a severe thunderstorm warning is issued for your area, move to a place of safety, ideally in an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.

We are OK. The storm has come and gone.Our whole town is without powerright now. Tree limbs down all over town.
I’m relieved that it didn’t get any worse than just tree limbs and power outage. Perryton, TX…west of you…was mostly destroyed by a tornado that roared through there.jeff Piotrowski [TwisterChaser] has footage on YouTube. I tried to link it but the link idn’t work.
