Russian President Vladimir Putin said that during the special military operation it became clear that Russia lacks many types of weapons, including precision-guided munitions, drones, communications equipment.
"In the course of a special military operation, it became clear that many things were missing. These are high-precision ammunition, communications equipment, aircraft, drones, and so on," Putin said at a meeting with war correspondents on Tuesday.
"We have them, unfortunately, we lack them quantitatively," the president said.
"We had a 2.7-fold increase in production for the main types of weapons over the year, and 10 times for the most demanded areas," Putin added.

It’s been a practice war so far. Russia’s army hadn’t faced a competent opponent in a long long time. Now they’ve identified which areas of weaponry they were deficient in and have stepped up production in those areas.
Now they’ll be ready for a real war.
