I have come to believe that Xi believes that China has strayed too far from the socialist path laid down by Mao Tse Sung and is going to enforce a return to what he refers to as China Socialism.
To do so, he must and is destroying the economy to cleanse it of the creeping capitalism and individual initiative. Hencefoth all business and industry must have an element of Chinese Communist Party control. There will be no more Jack Ma's Ailbaba's. There will be no independent street vendors.
Interesting are the references to the destruction of corruption. China presently runs on corruption. To disrupt simultaneously the totality of economic, societal and governmental corruption is in effect to exterminate what is.
The question becomes, does China want and accept the Xi thought. I doubt it.
I expect turmoil on a grand scale that will be prolonged and a definitive outcome will not come about for many years to come.
Oh, and that does not say any thing at all about how the world will react to the Xi Thought
Same as Mao thought.
Same as Mao thought.
same thing being done by the left in America. F them all.
Is Xi going to purge the intellectuals?
>>βIt includes a world view and moral principles that directly translate into what is considered good behaviour,β he told Al Jazeera.
>>βA more apt comparison would therefore be to a philosophy or a world religion but without the supernatural being.β
This is consistent with Chinese philosophy for the last 2500 years. A monotheistic god has never figured importantly in Chinese philosophy. The concept of “Heaven” is much more abstract.
Is he going to put it in a little book Meo?
