He obviously doesn’t know Donald Trump at all. Donald Trump will not drop out o the race and give into the establishment. Donald Trump is our ONLY hope for turning the nation around.
But I'm not so sure he's wrong about this.
My three questions for Donald Trump remain:
1) Why did you fire Mike Flynn?
2) Why did you not order Rod Rosenstein to fire Robert Mueller, and, if he refused, why didn't you fire them both?
3) When General Milley called a press conference to "apologize" for accompanying you through the still-smoldering streets of Washington, why did you not relieve him and order him to be court-martialed for insubordination and resistance to lawful authority?
The standard Trump voter response here is "Well, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan threatened him", or some such.
BUT HE WAS THE PRESIDENT!
We gave him the power to do all those things. But when threatened by his inferiors, he backed away.
He is an inspiring figure to millions. And his heart is in the right place.
But he wants to be liked/loved, and he's vulnerable to threats of bad press/bad consequences.
Would he take a pardon in exchange for retirement from politics? What does his track record tell you?

There may or may not be some sort of attempt at a deal, but if Trump drops out of the race the indictment will be dropped. Or at least that is what the Dems are trying to tell us without telling us.
